At the time I had promised I'd let him know I passed, but time got away and I've been delinquent on my promise, hence I'm writing this review. Muttu was, and I'm sure still is a patient teacher, whose solid knowledge and kind nature enabled me to see past my own anxieties and frustration over errors I kept making. I paid for a few sessions with him, to tighten my focus and familiarise myself with the regimen of a drive test in Ontario (having previously driven in Quebec), going over the drive test route to build my confidence. You could always feel that Muttu wanted you to succeed. I'm a bit shocked that none of the recommendations on Yelp related to this driving school are recommended. I can't understand the algorithm that Yelp uses to identify fraudulent recommendations, but I can't help but feel that the authors are being truthful as they mirrored my experience, particularly in relation to Muttu. His sessions were flexible (arranged at your convenience), his attitude professional and considerate, his knowledge impeccable and his prices reasonable.

Great communication: my instructor Abdul was easy to reach by text and always responded quickly. 3. I'm a "late bloomer" (older learner) and so took a few more lessons that a typical student to feel comfortable taking my G2 road test. Abdul was incredibly patient and easy to get along with, even when I was stressed out, lol. 4. As a woman, I was impressed by the professionalism and courtesy I was shown. I have taken driving lessons a few times in the past and did not feel as comfortable with other male driving instructors. 5. Abdul has a calm, even-tempered, confidence-evoking presence; his quick reflexes, experience, and knowledge of the finer points of learning to drive were pure gold!

One instructor did not speak to her or teach her anything - we asked to change - the other just belittled her and profiled her as a rich white girl that would pay her way out of anything. They are rude and disrespectful. Unfortunately, my kid didn't say anything until the end because she thought she had to go through her 10 hours of driving. I could go on with other stuff - like added costs and accommodate pick-up until it's time and then say they won't come in that location!!! JUST HORRIBLE ALL AROUND!!!! They are not transparent with timelines. Our daughter registered and requested her in car lessons…read more The earliest they could do it with her was 5-7 months after the request. If they had been transparent about this from the beginning we could have made the decision to continue to register or look elsewhere. Their solution now is to give a partial discount for the in car lessons but lose $500 and lose all course content she has already done... if you decide to use their services make sure you find out when you can get you in car lessons before signing up and base your decision on whether to register based on their response.

I would not recommend this company. The disconnect between the office (where you never get the name…read moreof the person you're dealing with) and the drivers is bothersome. You cannot be confident that they have any sway over the instructors. So why bother dealing with the office, when the instructor will present you with their own set of rules. I definitely wouldn't recommend DTSM.

We are very disappointed with this school. We paid for extra in car training (15 hours vs standard…read more10 hours), but it is taking forever to get the training done. Our instructor is new to the area and lead us to believe that my daughter would be receiving weekly training and she would be ready to do her test by the beginning of March, but we still have 5 hours left to go. Also, we have been asked to meet up at the Walmart parking lot in Barrhaven for 95% of the lessons (we live in Metcalfe). When I asked to have my daughter picked up from school in Manotick for lessons, the instructor agreed, but it has not happened yet.
