I will never stay here again... my husband and I were on a date night that turned disastrous & gross... when brought to the attention of front desk there was no sense of urgency ....#room215

A few supplements to the photos already here. Big laundry, clean room. One broken vending machine

I'm surprised at the low scores for this motel. I don't mean to suggest that it's a Four Star hotel in the usual sense, but for an inexpensive roadside motel, it's better than many I've seen. On the plus side - Easy location. If you can't find this, you should consider giving up driving. Good price. I called to confirm availability and got a better price ($72) than was showing on the last minute hotel apps. I had to join their free ESA club, which is a bargain at twice the price. Clean. I didn't see any bugs, and the room was good deal cleaner than others. Lobby area and halls were fine. Good sized bath and kitchenette. Friendly staff. Plenty of laundry machines. Big mall with lots of restaurants right next door. On the down side - I arrived late and hungry, all the places nearby were closed. The one vending machine they had was out of order and there was nothing behind the desk. Breakfast was pretty sparse. Just coffee/tea and one kind of small granola bar. Not a bad granola bar, but still less than most motel breakfasts. --- It was fine for what I needed - a one night stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back if the need arose again.

CHARGES

Booked and paid for a room for 2 nights. Booked and paid for on Oct 7 with check in on Oct 15 at 3pm and check out Oct 17 at 11am. Pre called on Oct 15 at 2:oopm (an hour before check in) to let them know my son, his wife and my 2 grandsons (aged 5 and 4yrs) would be there around 8pm and was told they had NO ROOMS and that YES, they had OVERBOOKED and EVEN though they had charged my card, they would do NOTHING and I should check with Booking, com to see if they would find me somewhere else, the manager did not care at this hotel (Extended Stay America Suites - Columbia - West - Stoneridge Dr) so I called Corporate and they didn't care and told me they could handle my dispute in 1 biz day which would be Monday cause my check in was Fri with check out on Sun. I was VERY UPSET and after contacting corporate 3x, they transferred my call to an EXTENDED Stay front desk. Needless to say, I WAS PISSED but, thankfully, the front desk they transferred me to (I AM SURE WAS BY MISTAKE) was an EXTENDED STAY across from the street of the original one I had paid for, After being SO VERY frustrated with the 1st EXTENDED STAY and EXTENDED STAY Corporation....I WAS PRIMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So when I got put thru to the EXTENDED STAY that was RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the original booking, I WAS LIVID. Thankfully the GM at that EXTENDED STAY (Shannon Burney General Manager ESA Management, LLC 450 Gracern RD Columbia, SC 29210) said YES WE MESSED UP and ask me " Please, give me 20 minutes and I WILL MAKE IT RIGHT" . And I did and she DID. She got us into an ESA 20 mins from our original site with no extra charge and with a refund. It took over 3hrs to get a room and I was willing to pay the original fee but she would not take it and stated, "that yes, ESA was wrong" and that they would "make it right". I am not sure after the DON'T CARE attitude that the original ESA and ESA Corporation gave if I WOULD EVER book with them again but I would book from ANYWHERE Shannon was managing. PS....I have proof of booking date and pay if needed by ESA because APPARENTLY their EXCUSE is ....IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU PAID OVER A WEEK AGO, SOME ONE WANTED TO.....EXTEND (LOL...MANAGEMENT THOUGHT THAT WAS A FUNNY PLAY ON THEIR NAME) THEIR STAY at EXTENDED STAY OF AMERICA so, we took ya money over a week ago and have not even bothered to inform ya of no room up to check in time......LOL.....OUR BAD.....LOL....WE ARE EXTENDED STAY....LOL.......WHAT YA GONNA DO................LOL????? Thankfully Shannon at the next road over HELPED even after CORPORATION left her high and dry with my anger. PLUS, my booking covered a KITCHEN suite (which was suppose to be a cost saver) and I GUESS you could TECHNICALLY call it that......STOVE (CHECK), FRIDGE (CHECK), MICROWAVE (CHECK), POTS/PANS/UTENSILS/DISHES/GLASSES/CUPS/ETC (NOOOOO). SO WHAT GOOD IS A KITCHEN with NOTHING TO COOK IN AND EAT ON?!!? Thank you Shannon. Love that YOU did your job but EXTENDED Stay will NEVER have to worry about booking me again.

The asshat landed on my back at 330am.

Well.....wifi didn't work, stove didn't work....then last night I had an unexpected roommate crawled on my back at 330. I will never stay at one of these shitty excuses for a hotel again. Ps...that's not my hair.

Sharp metal found on the floor

We needed a place to stay for one night during the road trip. The room has a weird smell. The windows were permanently left slightly open so if there's a smoker outside you smell it too. That smell actually woke me up. The phone wasn't working and there's no ice machine too. Hair on the bed and stains on some of the towels. The one thing that bothered me was this sharp metal on the floor that my husband stepped on. I wonder if they actually vacuum the floor. Not coming back for sure.

Kitchen included in deluxe room. Hotel is pretty inexpensive.

The room was extremely unclean. The refrigerator, microwave, counters, remote, door handle, and multiple other surfaces were dirty and sticky. My mom's room also had a blood stain on the sheets. We were handed cleaning supplies because the room was so dirty that I ended up cleaning parts of it myself. Check-in was delayed even though rooms were supposed to be ready at 3 PM. On top of that, there were barking dogs and a basketball team running through the halls making noise late at night and again early in the morning. Staff tried to excuse the barking by saying someone was near the door, but if guests bring dogs to a hotel they should not be disturbing everyone else. The office manager was also not pleasant and came off dismissive when I asked a simple question about a 30-minute late checkout. Breakfast was disappointing and below the standard I normally expect from Hilton properties. I've stayed at multiple Hilton properties recently, and this was by far the worst. CJ deserves recognition, but the hotel itself needs serious improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and management. All the manager said was she'll talk to someone about it

A solid 4 1/2 stars. I am in Tracy, and picked this place to stay for the night. The price…read more was only roughly 100 bucks on a Monday night. For what I got, it was extremely good. They had been doing renovations, and you can tell. The hotel is kept up very well. The lobby is bright and clean, and they have plenty of places to sit. The. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. It's in a good neighborhood close to I 205, and you do have to scan your room key to get on the elevator. There is a pool and spa, they are outdoors, but they do keep them open and maintained year round. If it weren't raining, I would've loved to use that spa. They also have a guest Laundry. The room was decent sized, and it was spotless! The TV got Dish Network with a very good picture, there's a fridge and a microwave, there was plenty of lighting and lots of places to charge my gear, and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds. I had slept on in a long time. Not too soft, not too hard, just perfect! The thermostat kept the temperature just right. . The bathtub had a permanent bath mat in it, but the hot water can be a little tricky. I turned the knob all the way to the left, and I was not getting any hot water at all. I called down to the lobby, and she told me that to get hot water, you just barely turn the knob to the left, like you would normally do for cold water. Basically, it's reversed. They had a good breakfast in the morning. Fruit cups, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, a pancake machine, Eggo style waffles, and two hot choices. Today, they had sausages and eggs. They also have hard boiled eggs, as well as juice, coffee. And hot cocoa. The coffee and hot cocoa are available 24 hours a day. Breakfast was very good. I had an appointment at 10 AM, and I didn't want to leave my gear in my car, so I asked them if they could extend my 11 AM check out to noon. No problem at all, they were glad to do it for me. The onlyreason I'm taking off a half star, is because of the Wi-Fi. Basic Wi-Fi is free, if you want. Full Wi-Fi, you have to pay five dollars a night. The basic Wi-Fi was just fast enough to stream video, but it was a little bit spotty. I have good hotspot data on my phone, so I just use my phone for Wi-Fi. Other than that, everything was great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Drove down from Washington State to visit family and found this hotel at a great rate for a 2 Night/3 Day booking. Seemed like a newly built hotel with a modern feel and look. Amenities included were a complimentary Breakfast, a Fitness center and an outdoor Pool. We didn't get a chance to partake in any of those, so cannot leave any feedback for those. Decent service from the front desk staff, and workers from the housekeeping area. Parking is good, there are ample amount of spaces around the hotel building and close to I-5. Bad thing is, the water pressure in the shower is so frickin' low! Takes at least 20 minutes to fully feel like you've had a clean wash since you gotta wait a while to get all the soap off...
