I travel for work very frequently and this is hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed it, from the front desk to the rooms. There was cockroaches / ants in the room, a nasty smell, suspicious people lingering and the "to go breakfast" are oatmeal packets. Also, the FF's in Tracy said they run calls here constantly due to people on drugs and it behind a homeless relocation place and there's also people that have this place as a home.. the staff also took out my coworkers personal items and packed them up to pick it up downstairs since we were moving somewhere else... don't stay here :) read more

We booked a room at this hotel on November 22, 2023. When we first entered the room, it smelled like some kind chemical; we contacted the front desk and told them all about the problem. They said that the floorboards were recently installed and that it was the glue that we smelled. They did not make any effort to accommodate us. I called the supervisor the next day to see if they would compensate us since we had to leave the night before check out. He would not give us any credit back, so we had to suck it up and take a loss. You think that management would be good enough to inspect to the room prior to making it available to live in it. The smell was so bad that my wife, my son and I left the hotel with headaches. Ask me if I would ever stay there again? I think you know the answer. THUMBS DOWN! read more

I'm surprised at the low scores for this motel. I don't mean to suggest that it's a Four Star hotel in the usual sense, but for an inexpensive roadside motel, it's better than many I've seen. On the plus side - Easy location. If you can't find this, you should consider giving up driving. Good price. I called to confirm availability and got a better price ($72) than was showing on the last minute hotel apps. I had to join their free ESA club, which is a bargain at twice the price. Clean. I didn't see any bugs, and the room was good deal cleaner than others. Lobby area and halls were fine. Good sized bath and kitchenette. Friendly staff. Plenty of laundry machines. Big mall with lots of restaurants right next door. On the down side - I arrived late and hungry, all the places nearby were closed. The one vending machine they had was out of order and there was nothing behind the desk. Breakfast was pretty sparse. Just coffee/tea and one kind of small granola bar. EXTREMELY SUBPAR DISAPPOINTMENT AND THEY DON'T CARE! I reached out to Extended Stay America several times; they never even acknowledged me: When I checked in my room was not clean; I had to ask them to bring me cleaning supplies so I could clean when I arrived that evening. (I have date and time stamped photos of drink rings, grime, thick dust, nasty stains on the carpet, etc., that I provided them). The front desk person brought cleaning supplies but told me I had to return them that evening when I was finished using them. I later had to buy my own so I could clean out a couple of the drawers. I even found a wad of chewed gum left on one of the lamps! This is a hotel that uses "Biltmore" in their name. The next morning when I told the manager (Vanessa), she made me feel like I was a huge annoyance rather than a valued guest. She also told me that I would not get my money back if I checked out even under these circumstances because I had paid for the week a few months earlier. She then demanded that I decide whether I was going to check out, immediately, and informed me that if I did, I had to be out by 11:00 am (within 2 hours - it was 9:00 am). She further informed me that if I were to check out that the price would be revised to higher as I had received a discount for booking the full week in advance. I felt bullied into staying or lose the $few hundred I had already paid. I also told them at that time, and 2 other times, that the bathroom sink didn't work properly, and no one ever came to fix it. I had to brush my teeth, etc., in the kitchen sink. Room service only checked on me one time. I had to go get my own towels, trash bags, toilet paper, and take out my own trash the entire week I was there. It's also advertised as a smoke free establishment yet the stairwells, etc., wreaked of cigarette smoke! Not to mention the plume of marijuana fumes that followed the front desk person out of the office each time he opened that door to approach the front desk. read more

I'm still traumatized from my stay there at the beginning of the year. Briefly, Yes- Dog Friendly (the reason why I stayed there in the first place) Full Kitchenette? LOL NO.... You have to REQUEST the kitchen items and good luck getting them! They don't even provide a coffee pot in the rooms. You have to ask for one. I didn't wind up cooking because you could smell the odor from every.single.meal cooked up and down the hallway. Towels- You have to turn in your dirty towels at the front desk if you request them before your room gets cleaned. Clean Rooms? Not every day. Once a week. If you're "On the Schedule". Internet/WIFI .... Good Luck with that. Spotty at best. One Router for the whole building. Really? Continental Breakfast- They need to actually do some research on what a Continental Breakfast consists of. I left after a week. I made arrangements for my dog and I went and stayed at the Holiday Inn. Moral of the Story? You get what you pay for. Cheap is usually Cheap- in so many ways. Extended Stay America/Tracy is a Cheap Hotel. Extended stay needs to crack open their wallet. I stayed at Extended Stay America for three weeks, paying 732.00 a week. It was like a ghost town. Nobody answered the front desk. My key wasn't working I struggled to get into my room everytime, until I found out the door battery had to be changed. No maid service, unless you paid for two weeks. Carpet dirty, tiny trash cans, lamps didn't work & no trash bags. For 732.00 I think this place has a lot of Nerve taking advantage of people. Booked and paid for a room for 2 nights. Booked and paid for on Oct 7 with check in on Oct 15 at 3pm and check out Oct 17 at 11am. Pre called on Oct 15 at 2:oopm (an hour before check in) to let them know my son, his wife and my 2 grandsons (aged 5 and 4yrs) would be there around 8pm and was told they had NO ROOMS and that YES, they had OVERBOOKED and EVEN though they had charged my card, they would do NOTHING and I should check with Booking,com to see if they would find me somewhere else, the manager did not care at this hotel (Extended Stay America Suites - Columbia - West - Stoneridge Dr) so I called Corporate and they didn't care and told me they could handle my dispute in 1 biz day which would be Monday cause my check in was Fri with check out on Sun. I was VERY UPSET and after contacting corporate 3x, they transferred my call to an EXTENDED Stay front desk. Needless to say, I WAS PISSED but, thankfully, the front desk they transferred me to (I AM SURE WAS BY MISTAKE) was an EXTENDED STAY across from the street of the original one I had paid for, After being SO VERY frustrated with the 1st EXTENDED STAY and EXTENDED STAY Corporation....I WAS PRIMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So when I got put thru to the EXTENDED STAY that was RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the original booking, I WAS LIVID. It took over 3hrs to get a room and I was willing to pay the original fee but she would not take it and stated, "that yes, ESA was wrong" and that they would "make it right". I am not sure after the DON'T CARE attitude that the original ESA and ESA Corporation gave if I WOULD EVER book with them again but I would book from ANYWHERE Shannon was managing. When making the reservation over the phone I was not told that I would be charged an additional HUNDRED dollars upon my arrival. Yes, the money can be refunded but in 7-10 days.  I find it odd that I had to pay an additional 100 dollars in order to ensure the room is left in good condition when the hallways reeked of cigarettes. Our room was DISGUSTING. There was urine and feces on the outside of the toilet. The floor looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in months and there were stains on the sheets. (All of this is happening at 11pm mind you after my fiancé and I have been on the road for 12 hours.) We get another room which is in somewhat better condition with the exception of the dead roach on the floor and questionable wrinkled sheets. We needed a place to stay for one night during the road trip. The room has a weird smell. The windows were permanently left slightly open so if there's a smoker outside you smell it too. That smell actually woke me up. The phone wasn't working and there's no ice machine too. Hair on the bed and stains on some of the towels. First time we checked in we got a room at first glance was great, flat screen and kitchen included BUT with a broken T.V. we contacted front desk and we were able to move to another room but again it was a FAIL there was NO T.V at all and the thermostat was broken. We told front desk, she seemed shocked and tried to place us in a different room right away. Finally we were able to get a working T.V. (old big bulky one though) But it worked. Rooms are normally $60.00 a night (single non-smoking queen size bed) Pets are allowed, I believe its an additional $15.00 (not sure) Parking in front and also in the back. But you need a card to enter through the back and side doors. Lobby locks doors by 7:30pm. Use phone in front room to contact front desk, to open lobby doors. Receptionist in only till 11pm. After that dial 600. This place is in a convenient location. You have Roundtables, Strings, Jamba Juice, right across the parking lot. I probably would not have picked this hotel if I were doing my own booking but since I was in Tracy for business the HR dept lady had the pleasure of sticking my yellow butt in this chained hotel. 1st thing I noticed as I stroll in the room was the frig, the stove and the small kitchen sink. I thought to myself, did she expect me to cook my own meals? I'm thinking this is how she must travel, but man oh man, this shindig suck! Major fail! To top it off, this chain hotel does not give its guests complimentary shampoo, conditioner, Q-tip, & body lotion. I didn't even notice a hair dryer. The TV worked which is great because the "free wifi" is slower than watching paint dry. I'm not exaggerating. I had planned on watching streaming video on my iPad but that didn't happen. I stayed at the 1410 South Loop 289, Lubbock, Texas location. The condition of room #119 was deplorable. I have pictures of the bed frame that hasn't been cleaned in years. The bathroom had one towel. The floors were filthy, and the hotel environment was utterly unsafe. A guest's car was stolen from the hotel parking lot the day I got there, and there was a reported attempted rape of a young lady staying at the hotel. I asked to check out the next day, but since I had already paid a month in advance for the room, the desk clerk Kyle said he could not check me out without the manager's permission. That was a Saturday. I wasn't allowed to check out until Monday, three days later. Even though I did not stay at the hotel, I was still billed for three days. I was told that only the manager could check me out and refund the difference. The manager was supposed to be at the hotel on Monday morning. The manager never showed up, so someone named John had to check me out and print the information about the refund. John said the manager would not return until Friday (Loni - I believe is her name). Poor John took forever trying to figure things out. He had to call the manager for guidance 3 or 4 times. The fact that there was no one to address my grave concerns regarding the cleanliness and safety of the hotel until Monday is a serious issue. I am outraged that because I checked in late Friday night and left on Saturday morning, I still had to pay for an extra two days that I WAS NOT in that filthy unsafe place because no one with authority was available to assist with checking me out and refunding my money. I would not allow my dog to stay in this hotel. It was a horrible experience. As promised I am writting this Yelp review and placing it on different hotel sites so that decent people with some level of basic standards will stay away from this place. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would, my group stayed for 6 days at the one in Las Vegas on east flamingo. I requested a room by the elevator as all of are disabled, 2 of us are on walkers. Room was way down from the elevator. By the time we arrived at the room we all were too tired to go back down and say anything. So we just unpacked and went to sleep. The next morning as we were leaving to go to the Convention we were there for (and working it) I said something at the front desk, I was informed that they can't promise a room by the elevator. Well they should have told me that back in May when I reserved the room and I called and requested a room by the elevator, and my receipt also states the room by the elevator. Then again the week before we went to Vegas I called to confirm the room by the elevator; no one said they couldn't do that. The first 2 nights we didn't use the stove, the 3rd night we tried but it didn't work. So by now I am too tired and frustrated to complain yet again. And the NO Maid service except for every 14 days, for a family staying only 6 that is ridiculous. I was told I would have to go down to get bath tissue, towels exchanged and take my own trash out. I just put the trash outside the door. Thank you to the maids who actually picked it up. I had to throw away 3 pairs of socks as the carpets were really dirty, couldn't tell by looking at it but walking on it you could tell. Upon return to the Hotel on the 2nd day we were asked by the maids if we would be interested in a kitten that some other person staying there left behind. We talked it over and took the kitten. We didn't want to see it go to pound or just be put outside. The hallway reeked of weed every day when we would leave and come back. I thought that this was a no smoking hotel. I feel like we were discriminated against as all the front office staff was black and we were all white. I have been calling for some kind of compensation, acknowledgement of them messing up everything. I even talked to a supervisor on or about the 13th of September, Terry said he would call me that Friday if no one called me back. He did not. I am not happy and I will be telling all my friends to NEVER stay at one of these hotels. All the other hotels can lose business because of this one in Las Vegas and its front office staff including the district manager and General manager. Called back on or about the 26th and was told again that they would call back in 48 hours. Could always find something if you look hard enough like the other reviewers did. No it's not perfect, but YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET!!!! This place is INFESTED with spiders. I stayed here a month. I am terrified of spiders. I found 7 spiders in my room just this week alone. They're everywhere. hanging from the ceiling, hanging from the lampshade, coming out of the drain, on the door to the building. Who knows what my rating would be if there weren't so many spiders. But there are, so it's 1 star. Other than that, extended stay is pretty pricey for what you get. It was $2500 for a month which could get me a nice apartment rental. The cleaning crew comes once a week. They provide you with dirty dishes upon request, and only a tiny little sample packet of detergent to clean them with. The linens smell old and like years worth of sweat. The "breakfast" is LITERALLY a basket of chewy bars and prepackaged "muffins". None of that was in our room. DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst room ever. The bed was soooo uncomfortable. I could feel the box springs. The pillows are paper thin. You need atleast 4 to feel as though you have one. They do not serve breakfast. It's more like granola bars, muffins and coffee...They don't provide cup and there's no ice machine or anything. They have a stove and fridge but no dishes....so if you cook, you have to buy everything that you need...not even a coffee maker in the room. They give you a wash cloth and a bath towel for a two day stay. I guess you are supposed to wash your ass and face with the same towel...The microwaves didn't work so I reported it to the front desk. The rep told me to turn it off with the circuit breaker and turn it back on and it should work. AYFKM. My job booked this hotel for us and I am very disappointed. This hotel is old, wreaks of chemicals, we had 2 cockroaches come under our door on separate occasions, and had a broken fridge that ruined our food, no apologies from management. Despite all that, the worst disappointment was the poor management of this facility and a perpetually rude and unprofessional employee, Antonio. Obviously, management is well aware of these issues or they wouldn't have a disproportionate amount of negative reviews to good ones with accompanying apologies. Why don't you stop apologizing for the unprofessional service and just fix it?! Maybe start with teaching your staff how to properly and professionally communicate!
