They are fine. They don't do a terrible job, but they don't do a GREAT job, either. Whenever I take my car in, I usually opt for the full service that includes inside vacuuming. And they actually do a good job with it. It's always the exterior wash that they always leave spots off. Most of the car will be washed mechanically, so if you're going to finish things off by hand, I would think they'd know to get in the hard-to-get spots like around the wiper base, or under the caves around the plates. But they never do. Despite doing a good job with vacuuming though, they again, always seem to leave many spots off inside, too. They generally focus on very visible areas and lack details on not so visible areas. Didn't help that they've slowly been raising prices, too. I was at this location last week. A piece of my hood fell off during the wash. I saw it fall off and the location where it fell off. I immediately went to the booth and told the very nice employee what had happened and where it happened. He said they were busy and would I mind waiting till the line got caught up to shut it down. I said I just work down the street and would you save till next week when I get my weekly wash. Went back was advised they couldn't find! In other words they never looked. I will be sorry to never return because I know what happened. I wish I had have insisted because that part cost me $120. The manager didn't even come out to tell me. He sent that nice young man to give me the news. I could tell he felt terrible. Poor customer service. read more

On May 22, 2024 I went to the Maumee Expresso car wash. I paid for the Works plus wash and cleaning. I arrived there at 12:27pm and did not leave until 1:35pm. Let me tell you why. They sent my car through the wash with the passenger window open, car was completely soaked, I was sitting and waiting wondering what was taken so long. Finally a hourly employee came and told me what had happened. Mind you, I never seen or heard from any management until they brought back my car, which was still wet inside. Told me that they had no way to refund me my money but offered me a gift card for a free car wash. Like really, bring my car back to the place that messed up my car. What amazes me even more is that the District Manager was there and did not come to speak to me, he had a 20 something young come talk to me. Needless to say I will never go back and I most certainly will post this every chance I get. read more

I paid $25 for an admittedly very dirty suv. Our dog car. However, I offered another $20 tip (and had a $50 in my pocket in case it was an extraordinary experience) if they really did a good job. There was only one other car in service as it was early in the morning so they had about 9 kids standing around until I arrived. Unfortunately, this appears to be a team of HS or college kids who didn't have a team lead. They each have their role and some do well, others don't. Mats, inside front dash, inside windows and outside side windows stellar. Front windshield, not at all. Somehow they missed the entire right front window. Lots of bug trails left and it's pretty distinct as compared to the left side. Inside vacuuming left popcorn and other debris. A paw print on leather backseat that one swipe would have cleaned. Rims half cleaned and still grimy. Pretty disappointing, but adequate job. To be clear, I wasn't looking for a detail; I actually plan to get that next week at home. Good but not great and not the 5 stars the reviews led me believe. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Expresso for about 24 years and I have seen the service quality go up - and down. In the last few years, it has been consistently bad, bordering on terrible and now, after yesterday, I am finally done with them. Their facilities are old and outdated. The staff is so bad and it is always changing. They sent me away yesterday with my drivers side not towel dried at all - only the glass. This was after I had to get after the guy to dry my windshield - which was still all wet. He looked annoyed and swiped at my windshield with the towel in his hand and smeared up my windshield with something! I had to pull to the side of the building, borrow a towel and dry my car myself, in the cold. The washes anymore are inconsistent and underwhelming. My tires always look bad now, they used to look awesome. I have the renewable car wash card - and I am canceling it. I am switching to the new kid in town - Express Clean Car Wash. read more

When entering the car wash I was guided by a young guy. He pointed with a black glove on in a darkened environment. I was directed to turn left and then right then left again, followed by a open hand to stop. The young guy splashed my windshield with a soapy brush and turned away to turn off the power to the conveyer and left the building. He returned a couple of minutes later and asked me step out of the car and pointed to my front left wheel and stated"you have a RIM JOB" I asked to see the manager and he shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't understand me. I got back into my car and the car was sent through the car wash machine lineup. I parked the car front of the car wash but still in their driveway. Walked to the back of the building looking for an office and the manager. The cashier told me that "J-J" was the boss. I found him a nudge didnot look at my car and just ducked away saying there was nothing he could do. The wheel was replaced by Toyota dealer at a cost of $737. The wheel is original equipment on the car. I do not recommend this car wash! read more

Paid for the interior cleaning.The next night I noted that they not clean the inside of the windshield. This is the second time. Sent them an e-mail stateing the situation and that I did not complain the first time. Nothing no response. Long time customer, won't be back many other car washs. read more

I would not recommend! They did a decent job on the carpet washing/cleaning but that's not what I was worried about. They aren't very detailed when it comes to detailing! I had a lot of missed spots when I got my car back. Some obvious spots more than others. It was such a waste of $ for what I received in return. I have been looking for a place to do both interior and exterior washes and this place crushed it. My mats were covered in mud and they ensured even those were clean as well! All for about 25 dollars. I will definitely be going back in the future. read more

I was visiting town and found this place, it was full over 20 cars in line. The attendance was polite and courteous, explained the different service offered onsite. In no time I choose the Works Plus $22 investment and it was great. They took care of the carpets (power washed), vacuum, cleaned the inside glass, took care of the tires and the outside. All this service in less than 20 min. If you go thru the area consider stop there. J read more

Do not go here!! Had a detail in June and as soon as we got it home our DVD player and TV screens wouldn't work. I was told BY THEM they probably sprayed something into it and they would send someone out. Weeks later a random man they call "Radio Dave" showed up at my house and explained he had no experience with the system I had, but would do research. Again, weeks later, I called Quinn and left a VM. No response, but eventually he did contact me to take it to Yark dealership to have it looked at because they have an account there. I called Yark to schedule and they said they had no record of an account with Expresso. I emailed Quinn to tell him and he responds stating he has spoken with his GM and they now don't think they had anything to do with this and want MY insurance company to come assess. It's now OCTOBER and all of the sudden they don't think it's their fault. Beware. Do not go here! They messed up some very expensive electronics in my car, dragged me around for months and now don't want to fix their mistake. read more

I visited this car wash today and I am very disappointed. They were not busy so they had plenty of time to do their job right. The car mats were put back in with mud still on them. The side window and front window still had bird poop on them. Inside was not vacuumed thoroughly. I doubt I will return for the price. read more

This review is for the detail shop at the Maumee location. I had a Groupon for a Silver detail package, which was for half off of the listed Silver package price. For the cost of the service , the results were fair. Had I paid full price, I would have been more upset. The staff was friendly; the detail guy took his time to explain how to get the carpet dried out since it was in the 20s out and they even had it running with the heat cranked up to help dry it out. The interior was vacuumed and shampooed nicely and he walked me around the car when I came to pick it up. I really didn't pay that much attention to everything since it looked much better than when I dropped it off. Now the bad. Exterior: There was still dirt under the spoiler, which you can reach with your hand, so the hand wash should have gotten it. Their was still dried bird poop on the front window. Their was still dirt on the driver's side window near the top all the way around the top seal. It's not that they didn't roll the window down to clean it, which they obviously didn't and I am okay with that, but they didn't even clean all the way to the top. I can see the drive through wash missing this, but this was supposed to get a Hand Wash according to the package listing. There was wax residue on the rear taillight and other parts of the car. The car is white so it is not easy to see but was noticeable when looking at the correct angle. Interior: The rear window was never cleaned. It was filthy when I brought it in and just as filthy when I got home. The front window had a film left on it and was not cleaned all the way to the edges but about 6" from the top. The carpet on the rear deck was never vacuumed. It still had dead flies and dog hair on it. I did not go over the job with a fine toothed comb. This was just what I noticed driving it home (dirty windows) and once I got home and walked around it again(everything else). The guy at the detail shop was friendly and had I had the time to drive it back and wait, I am sure he would have fixed it all. But that isn't really the point. It should have been done correctly the first time or maybe just one thing overlooked, not so many of them. So for the price I paid, I know I could not have done what they did correctly myself with the time it would have taken me. But even though I used a Groupon, it still should have been done thoroughly. read more
