Got in an accident outside of the place everyone was fine getting paper work done and I guess this company's supervisors thought that they should make a laughing stock out of the accident and had every single employee walk out and laugh about it at first I didn't say anything because one of the cars were against the wall and it could of scared whoever was on the inside of that wall but every single one of them came out including all the supervisors one was name Brenda and she brought everyone out. Then told me I could walk her back after having told me that only the patient could be in the exam room. Overall, I had a very safe and satisfying experience. When I had a headache and nothing tasted right, I waited outside for a Covid test. After 15 minutes, it turned out negative and the doctor came outside to perform the check up. I had no problem with any of this due to safety concerns, except it was 91 degrees outside and I waited 40 minutes in the sun with no water! The doctor did not provide any useful but harmful medical advice to my 10-month-old daughter. I told the doctor that my daughter was sick for 5 days already, but the doctor prescribed her a medication that has to be taken within 2 days of the flu symptoms are developed. The doctor did not tell me this requirement until I found that out from the prescription instruction inside the prescription package. The medication cost me $150. I kept calling the office but the front desk and doctors did not try to take any responsibility. At the time of visit, the doctor only told me that my daughter needed to take the medication and drink more water. She did not do anything useful to help my daughter from sickness. Now they are charging me $100 for office visit. I kept calling and left voicemail to the Administrator (Duke Nguyen) for compensation of wrong medical advice and wrong prescription, but the front desk of Surprise office and Sun City office and the Administrator always AVOID me. When I call in, they always say the administrator is not here, there is nothing I can do for you. You lost your money and you still need to pay us. If you think the doctor here is better than google search, you are wrong. I really do not know why the review is so high, but my experience tells me it is not true. If there is a government department that I can report this issue, I will definitely go there and charge them in court. I have been vomiting, with abdominal pain on and off since Tuesday. I went to the location on Thunderbird and 103rd Ave this morning to see what was going on. I was selfpay and filled out all the paperwork and then before taking me back the aid was straight up and honest and said for my symptoms they would rather refund my money and see me go to the ER. They weren't refusing by anymeans to see me but just knew they couldn't treat me with my symptons and gave me a refund. I will continue to go there for this reason. read more

I came here for the first time with my 2 kids because they had ear aches and the pedestrian wasn't available. I was immediately put into a room by the amazing ladies at the front and within 5 minutes they came and took vitals and asked the usual questions. Within 2 minutes of the nurse leaving the doctor came into see us! Dr. John was so sweet and amazing and genuinely cared. He even let my little girl listen to her heart beat. She was so happy and comfortable with him. We were in and out with 15 minutes. Ive come back 4 times since and every experience has been exceptional!! read more

I have been going here for years and enjoy the employees. They're a good choice when my regular PCP is closed. However this past weekend my wife and I encountered a real jerk named Matthew. First we called to see how long the wait was he was very rude and hung up on us. Literally our phone conversation: Wife: Hi, how long is the wait? Matthew: About 45 mins. Theres three people here now but that can change. Wife: ok than....he hung up We go there anyways to have our son seen. I check my son in and since I've been here before I know they can take my phone and get a copy of my insurance card or since my wife was a patient earlier in the week we can email it to them. But, Matthew decides to say very rudely that he needs the physical insurance. So I tell him I physically have the insurance on my phone and he can get a copy of it that way. So, he has me email it to him. First he gives me the wrong email address then I get the real one. During this time, he tries to photocopy my insurance card from my phone. Like everything in his life, he fails at that too. This was the first time I encountered Mister Matthew and am not fond of him. If he can get an attitude adjustment and realize he's going to have patients that do not feel well and treat them a little nicer I'll change my rating and review. Until then, Mister Matthew is making it miserable. I went to Express Urgent Care in Sun City this morning. The staff was all very nice and the physician's assistant thoroughly explained things to me. I went there for an earache and broken blood vessels in my eye. She prescribed an antibiotic for an ear infection and told me that the eye problem was nothing to worry about. They also did a covid test just to make sure it was not covid and just a cold. I've been there several times and will go back again if I need to. read more

While getting dressed yesterday I bent over and instantly knew that I had pulled my back out. This morning saw no improvement after icing all day. So this morning I searched several Urgent Care facilities in our area. Express Urgent Care on Thunderbird actually had a 5 star rating and that sent me right to their door. The staff and PC were all understanding of my pain and got me in right away. The PC recommended an injection of a muscle relaxant and in a matter of minutes I was up and out of there. Unbelievable....the last time my husband went to Fast Med on W. Bell he was in the lobby for over 2 hours....just waiting. Congratulations Express Urgent Care....you are awesome. read more

I went in at 7:00 a.m. and I was the first one there. I had cut my finger with a hedge trimmer, but wasn't sure how bad it really was, so thought they could take a look at it and maybe just bandage it up for me, as it was bleeding quite a bit. After giving the gal at the desk my insurance card and identification the other gal gave me multiple pages to fill out..... my writing hand was wrapped with a towel to hold the cut and blood. I tried but couldnt quite get it done, so I asked the gal who handed me the papers to ask me the questions and I would give her the answers. She said "NO", I don't have time for that, I would just need to figure it out.I thought this was very uncaring and not sympathtic. read more

I have had very good experiences with this clinic in the past, but today was a DISASTER. I came for a covid test. The technician came in to do the swab and then left, saying it would be a few minutes. At first I thought he meant it would be a few minutes for the PA to be in, but then it dawned on me that it may mean they were doing the rapid test instead of the test sent to the lab, as I have always had in the past, at this same location. I called him back in and he told me that they were doing the rapid test and I told him that I did not want the rapid test. First of all, he tried to put the blame on me, saying that I should have asked the receptionist which test they routinely do. I told him NO, that is not my responsibility, that he should have ASKED ME, as they did for every test in the past, which test I wanted. He then proceeded to lie about what was said, BY ME! He kept lying and would not take responsibility for his actions and so I left. I think he thought I was an old, senile woman, who would accept anything he said......but, he was WRONG in so many ways. I had the PA call me and I explained why I left and she apologized. I will never return to this office of Express Urgent Care! read more

I took my 5 year old son to the urgent care because he coughed for over a week. The doctor at the urgent care ordered an XRay to make sure no water in his lungs and a prescription... There was one person ahead of us so there was no long waiting. I now have peace of mind that my baby is okay and that his cough is just due to the reflex. The doctor was nice as well and prescribed me the medicine I've had in the past that I asked for, so good experience... Until we left and my boyfriend told me that he came out and spoke to the other workers in the office about my condition loud enough that the waiting room could hear. So my daughter woke up with what looks like a black eye. It is swollen, red, runny and painful. She went to the optometrist who diagnosed a large corneal abrasion. They gave her an ointment, a contact lens bandaid and an eye patch and told her to go to Urgent Care for pain medication. She went to Express Urgent Care and they told her that her request for pain medication is inappropriate and that they won't help her. JERKS! They didn't even bother looking at her eye, they just said NO. So now you have me, her Mother. Asking for pain medication from qualified health professionals for an injury is not inappropriate. What IS inappropriate is being qualified Healthcare workers and withholding medical care because you are being judgemental towards someone who is in pain. It's okay guys, she took 4 x 200mg of Ibuprofen and is now laying down, but I will make sure everyone I know is aware that you withhold medical care. Surprise clinic on Wadell and Litchfield. Supposedly open at 7am but only front staff were there. They didn't even know if a Dr would be there. Minor nick but I'm on cumadin and they want me to go to the ER. Dr finally showed up and without looking at me says the same thing. Must have interrupted their breakfast. I had a major cut on my thumb and Dr From Med Post Urgent care fixed me right up using liquid bandaid. I'm going to my Dr's Nurse practitioner who'll take care of this problem. Bottom line if they couldn't fix this nick then I wouldn't have them treat me for a cold. Skip this place and try a facility that wants to work and care about the people who come in. My husband and I are snowbirds and we are here for the winter. My husband fell off the ladder and I brought him to this urgent care because my neighbor had great experiences from them. The doctor and staff were extremely caring. They got us in right away and got xray of his hips. We were in and out in less than an hour. Thank God my husband did not have a hip fracture. It was just a "contusion." He was given pain medication. ( I have given the ladder away to a friend ). Great place! I called and they confirmed they accepted my insurance and treated my issue. I went in Sunday evening. I expected the typical wait where higher priority problems skipped ahead of me but no one else was there (one person came as I did paperwork and another as I left). I was in and out quickly with barely any waiting. I was assured the person had treated my condition often (bruise under my toenail with accompanying swelling in toe) and the procedure was fairly quick. I was given instructions on continuing care at home and potential follow up. They did forget the prescription on the printer but when I realized his (when I got home) I called and they are calling it into a pharmacy in the morning. I went to the location on 91st ave & Thomas on Friday because I hurt my knee several weeks ago and have been in lots of pain and didnt want to miss anymore work. I went in and there were only 2 people so i assumed the wait should be too long. The front desk girls were not friendly at all and after 3 hours and an Xray that didnt show anything, they said they would sent me a prescription to the pharmacy for pain. I drove to the pharmacy and no prescription, called the next day and still no prescription. It turns out they had prescribed Oxycodone which CANNOT be sent electronically which you would think they would know considering they are the drs. So when i go back in to ask for it, I have never been treated so poorly. They screwed up my prescription and then proceeded to treat ME like a drug abuser just trying to get more drugs! I will NEVER go back there! read more

I would just like to say thank you Tanya the PA that saw me at Express Urgent Care Saturday morning at 7 AM. I woke up at 3 AM with an allergic reaction and a very swollen throat. I was terrified. I arrived before the clinic opened and the medical assistant let me in early. They made me feel so at ease and gave me the proper treatment. I have been taking all my meds and feel so much better today. Going to see my primary care doc this afternoon.
