It's summer in South Florida, so I needed to get my car windows tinted. I reached out to a friend…read morefor a recommendation and I was told this place did good work. I called to get more information about the options and prices. I spoke to Jimmy and from what I understand, he is the owner. He explained the different options and price points. I agreed to come in Monday morning. Upon arriving to the shop I met with a young man at the desk. I explained that I spoke to Jimmy a few days before and came in to get my car windows tinted. The young man quoted me with different prices than was already given. For example with Jimmy the starting rate was $190, with this young man the starting rate was $240 an almost 30% mark up. I do not like dishonesty and I definitely don't respect any business taking advantage of people. I explained to the young man that I was quoted a different price and if he did not plan on honoring it then I needed to speak to the owner. Three calls were made to the owner and there was no answer. At this point I was ready to walk. The young man had an about face and stated he would complete the job at the price the owner quoted me at. I found this very disingenuous. I must admit he did a good job despite the initial attempting to haggle me in the beginning. When I checked in there was a $30 off Yelp discount but he reported he has never seen it before and could not process it. I wish more business respected 'word of mouth' referrals as it's the best way to get people in your door. A word of advice being honest and consistent is always the best business practice. I will be hesitant to refer here.

Very poor Workmanship, and unprofessional. Mike the owner, got into a screaming match with his…read moreemployee and fired him on the spot. Apparently the employee was smoking weed in my driveway. Mike total disregard for safety protocol, by standing on the very last step of a '15 latter and stretching to reach a window that was at '22. He came totally unprepared after coming to my home the day before, that was totally pour laziness and dangerous. He told me that the job would take 2 days and it took 4 days. The first day they came, Mike started the window and stopped. I was told that the film we agreed on was to hard to install, and he would have to come back the next day with a different film that is much easier to install. The next day he started the job with one guy and the second guy came at 11am. The 3 day Mike showed up with one guy and that was the day he blew up on him right in front of me and fired him. The 4 day Sunday, he came buy himself stayed until 10pm. Halfway through the day, i felt bad and offered to help him with the install. I ended up prepping the window (washing, scrapping, drying and removing window trimming). I even ended up acutely helping him install the film! It's been one year since the the install and some of the tinting is peeling off around the edges, hazing up and I'm now noticing all the dirt that was left behind and he just covered over it anyway. I highly recommend staying away from The Window Tint Guy! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money!

I was in the same situation a few months ago looking around wasting time. Going from one tint shops, to the next comparing tints and prices. Until I found Hank B. from https://proinstallceramicpro.com/ He did the ceramic tints on my son's Ford Mustang back in early July,2019. I waited this long to leave a review because I wanted to see how well the tints and the workmanship would fair after three months of intense heat and full exposure to the sun. I'm very happy to report I've had zero issues since Hank, installed the tints on the car. I could not be more satisfied with the product and the workmanship provided by Hank. The tints look amazing today as they did three months ago when Hank first installed them. No issues whatsoever with bubbles, fading or peeling anywhere. What a huge difference the ceramic tints from Huper Optik, have made to the car. These are some of the highest quality tints on the market today and It shows you can also feel the huge difference it has made. The car stays so much cooler inside now the A/C cools off the car so much easier. Even in the middle of a blazing hot south Florida afternoon. I would highly recommend Hank, to anyone that's looking for tints. He's the best you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Hank! I'll be contacting you soon for my wife's car next.
