I've never done business with them before, as I am not in the habit of selling jewelry. My diamond was $10K when it was purchased in 2006. Platinum band, ~1 carat natural diamond with excellent clarity. I have the receipt from its purchase, but didn't provide it to Accent - I wanted to see what they'd say. Their offer? ** $575 ** $575 for a $10K ring? How in God's name does a piece of jewelry deteriorate in value that much? I am baffled. And how is it that the jeweler that sold it recently offered me $5K? I understand people need to make a profit - I do. I was not expecting Accent to offer me $10,000. But $575?!?!?!
