The machines accept credit cards which is nice but coins as well. I travel quite a bit and prefer to use laundromats to hotel Laundry machines. The process is faster. So I've seen plenty of good and bad and this place was pretty good. Clean, well kept and good value. Good place to do laundry.

I understand that...that is fair. But each and every time I have gone in to use dryers there have never been more than 2 or 3 people using the laundromat, and always plenty of dryers to go around. Yesterday there was one woman who had just started her 2 loads, when I loaded 3 dryers. The attendant came and asked me how many dryers I was going to use because customers who were both washing and drying got to pick the dryers they wanted to use. Mind you, there was just the one other customer who was just starting her wash, and me in the place. I believe there are at least 18 dryers for use. So rude! A little power went straight to her head. I will never use their facilities again...ever!

Literally have to justify how many quarters you ask from her, plus it's so tight in the place that you must walk sideways half the time to get around. The machines are a little on the expensive side, too. Half the washers are front loaders and the other half are these antiquated machines that require tickets...another local oddity. Overall, it's a bit dirty,cluttered and hot. In Sioux City, it is a real challenge finding a quality laundromat, but Pierce Street is light years better than this place.
