If you like money spent wisely and want your vehicle fixed right, do not use Vergas Auto. Perham…read moreAuto is an affiliate as well. Had a 2012 Chevy Impala with the Stabilitrak light plus check engine light on. Same problem existed a year ago and I29 Auto in Fargo replaced a Stabilitrak sensor and all was good for under $100. I figured over time the other one would go out. Lo and behold the same problem came up and Vergas Auto stated it was a coil, spark plugs, plug wires and potentially a cylinder. They said this was causing the StabiliTrak aspect and kicking back to the computer. I mentioned the I29 diagnosis and they all but ignored me. $630 and a day later after driving it 70 miles the same issues are happening. Don't even get me started on when they replaced a head gasket on my truck for $1500 and it rolls blue smoke out when you start it. They also didn't hook the stereo back up after taking the truck apart and CHARGED me to bring it back in do it. If you have a choice, go somewhere else.

I am pleased by the work but when I went to pick the car up I was stunned to be charged $300 over the bidder price. Now they had my telephone number to call me when the work was done but did not call in regard to whatever added work was necessary. I asked what else they had done and was told it was miscellaneous and when pressed that they had taken off a plastic piece and put it on again. The throwaway line was that the insurance wouldn't care. Well, I was offended at this. I was paying outright and not charging my insurance (the damage was caused when my daughter didn't make it out of the garage without hitting the garage frame. I gave to say that when Mark the manager could not be found that Tim took the miscellaneous charge off. Word of warning--insist that any added charges be cleared first. Also if you are getting bids that if Nereson does not give you the highest bid, they may still give you the highest bill.
