I never thought this would happen to me! It was the most horrifying event in my life. My son getting arrested. A good kid, an honor roll grad. Pharmacy tech grad. NEVER IN ANY BIG TROUBLE! It was Dec 23rd 2019. Police came to our home in Summerlin NV. Asking for him. Apparently, a gun fire went off in our community. I hadn't a clue. Now, my son kept noooo secrets from me. Apparently, this he did. After 4 hours of interrogation out in the pouring rain. All of us. They took him in. I was DEVASTATED AND STILL AM. Christmas Eve came and went. Christmas morning arrived and I could not take it. I phoned a dear friend in Santa Barbara for HELP WITH BAIL. I could not bare with my son inside of Jail walls on Christmas Day. I would never recommend this bail agency they will lie and scam you out of thousands . They will promise you money to get you to surrender a defendant and then screw you out of the money . I signed for my girlfriend who missed her court date they called me and called and threatened my 80 year old parents . I had talked my girlfriend into surrendering to the bail agents which they promised me 1500 dollars for doing my part to help them get her back into custody . I was never paid a dime they actually sent me a bill for 1400 dollars and deducted the agreed amount off the price of the bail agent costs . They are crocks dirtier then the cops they work with . I would ask that anyone using these lying sacks of crap to pay them the least amount to get out of jail and run like hell . Don't look back rip them off like they did to me . read more

I unfortunately had to bail a friend out of jail a few months ago, and it was not a pleasant experience. I called Express around midnight and the guy on the phone (forgot his name) was very helpful and accommodating. The bail was a lot more than I had anticipated, and he told me I could pay half up front and then pay the balance later. Then he told me to come on down to their office located on Charleston and Casino Center. I arrived close to 1am and filled out all of the required paperwork, then paid half of the money as was discussed. I was then told that the bail would be taken right to the jail and posted, so I would be able to pickup my friend at 9am the next morning. Since I had never done this before, I trusted him and went home assuming everything would be taken care of. When morning came, over 6 hours later, I called the jail to verify that the bail was posted and they told me it wasn't. I called Express right away and the same guy told me that the runner had already dropped off the money and the bail was posted. "We have a receipt and everything." He told me. I figured maybe it took some time to process, so I trusted what he said. An hour later I called the jail again and was told no dice. Express still stuck with their story and I was getting nowhere, so I decided to drive down to the jail myself and find out what was going on. When I arrived at the jail, I was told that the runner had just gotten there, and the paperwork was not correct so the bail was not accepted. The runner was told to go back to the office and redo it. I was beside myself! They had not previously been there as I was told before, they were just now showing up after 9am. A good 8 hours since I first dropped off the money! I was pissed off and angry that I was lied to. Also the cutoff time to post bail was 8am, so my friend was not able to get out until 9pm. He had to spend an extra 12 hours in jail because of this incompetent company. I ended up calling and using another company, who posted my friends bail right away without any money up front. He was finally released after 9pm. I returned to Express the following day to pickup my money and I expressed my frustrations to the guy who was working the morning shift. He seemed genuinely concerned to hear about my situation, but there was nothing he could do at that point. If you need to bail someone out of jail, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. read more
