Beware, learn from my experience. We posted a bond for a family member and were assured they would be released within two hours. However, that is not the case. After you post a bond there is actually a 24 hour waiting period before release. The arraignment would have occurred much sooner. This is certainly the worst hit to our finances with zero results. I received a nice explanation from the company, after the fact. But the only reason I transacted the process was because I was assured of the 7 pm release time. The arraignment would have provided more resolution, sooner. By posting the bond I delayed the arraignment process and put the individual's job at risk. I also forgot to mention the amount of the bond changed when we came into the office^ Here is an update and not specific to any bail bond company. Just general information to hopefully help the decision making process: 1) The business is one that unfortunately has the upper hand because of the emotional involvement towards loved ones that become offenders for whatever reason. Try to look at your situation as if helping someone else, keep emotions in check. 2) Would the hundreds of $ spent in a bond really provide me a benefit. In our situation the offender was released 17 hours after we paid and obtained a bond. She was released at 6:30 a.m. and the arraignment would have begun at 8:30 a.m.. Did this two hour difference justify a benefit for the cost of the bond, in our case absolutely not worth the cost. 3) In our case the offender would have been released with a future court date of course. But by spending all that money on a bond, we actually now delayed the process. 4) Ask the bail bond folks to show you their data on offenses, before you pay for costly services that will result in a zero benefit. They know what type of offenses result in an arraignment where the offender is typically released after the arraignment. These are all personal decisions we have to make under extreme emotional duress. But try to keep those emotions in check to make the most logical and cost effective decisions. read more

Robert Chavez was very helpful and worked with me in my situation trying to bail out my fiancé. I had trouble with 2 of the top rated bail bonds place in Vegas the day before, they turned me away so I had to pay full bail at county. Just for another charge to be added over night and keep him. I called this place the next morning only having 45 minutes to set bail before he had court.. and he helped out and is actually (fingers crossed) getting bailed out! Nice guy. Crappy situation. Never used a bail bondsman before. First time for everything I suppose. Marc walked me through the process quick fast and in a hurry. Thought I had a pretty good grasp of the situation. I was about 70% there. Marc got me to 100%. Even brought up stuff I would have never even considered. Courteous, friendly and down to earth. Apparently he's seen enough people going through the down and ugly. He knows how to treat you when your world is all cockeyed. If that was all, I would have been good but I ended up having questions about how things worked at the LV City Jail later that day and when I called for answers at 10:30 at night, they were just as helpful as they were at 8:00 in the morning. It pays to read your reviews. I called Ebail and spoke with JR about bailing my son out of Clark Detention center. He politely told me to stay on the line while he called the center to see if my son was going to be O R'd. He informed me he didn't want to proceed if they were going to O R him. And explained the process and options. I had called several other companies that made no mention of this. How do you call a visit to a bail bondsman a positive experience? Well, I can -- not having had any experience in this matter, I was in the position to bail a loved one out of jail. Marc is awesome! This was my first dealings with a bail bondsman cause my sister was arrested for DUI. I wasn't sure what to expect other than a mountain of paperwork to fill out and giant fees plus "hidden" fees. But that was NOT the case here. I didn't even have to step foot in the office. After speaking with Marc over the phone, he was so professional and nice and explained the legal situation in easy to understand terms without all the legal jargon. So I decided to purchase a bail bond to get my sister out, which was 15% of the bail (required by Nevada law). There was also a $50 posting fee, which he kindly waived for finding him on Yelp. The whole transaction was done over the phone, after which time he did all the dirty work of going down to the courthouse and posting the bond, all while keeping in constant contact with me via text/email. My sister was released a few hours later (can take 6-16 hours for release). I'm so glad I found Marc. My only regret is that I didn't get to meet the man himself.
