When we started the search for day care and walked into TGTA, Ms. Toma instantly made us feel welcome and safe. She encouraged us to ask questions and visit as many other facilities to feel confident in our decision. Needless to say we knew from the start that TGTA was the right fit. Every morning our toddler runs up to her teachers and gives a big bear hug, which is a constant reminder to me of how much she enjoys her time here. I appreciate that she gets designated reading, music and art time. We find that her vocabulary, social skills and general curiosity are increasing by the day. For our infant, we receive daily reports for feeding, naps, diapers, etc which makes the transition from school to home that much easier. This Facility was our favorite by far when we did tours in the area - modern building / facilities, great technology to stay connected and monitor your kids, and very friendly and competent staff. This is what daycare should be like in today's age! Parking can be a bit of a pain at times as pickup / drop-off for most parents are around the samtimes and the parking spaces are not the biggest. There's also a high school across the street that causes some traffic disruption but just avoid those times. They give you two apps, one that the teachers use to track meals / diaper changes, and one that you can see your kid at all times. There's a fairly structured curriculum for the kids, though usually I just see them running around having fun. They're friendly and love our babies. I appreciate that the administration cares about teacher retention but also doesn't continue to keep teachers If they don't meet the expectations of OFA. My child learned so many amazing things and was excited to go to school each day. After infant 2, you no longer get activity logs or pictures of your child even though it state ms you will in the parent handbook that you sign. 45 day withdrawal notice without proration so be sure to time it perfectly or you'll lose out on your deposit. My child no longer enjoys going to school and haven't been able to connect with the new teacher with the exception of 1 that has since resigned. 2 of the 3 teachers in Toddler class is no longer there within such a short period of time. . The food is unhealthy (Apple Jacks, ect ) for a 20 month old even-though my child feeding directions show nothing with added sugar. I really want to like this school but with the higher ratios than all of the neighboring schools and multiple undocumented accidents leaving my child with marks and no explanation I just can't recommend this school. $1700 per month, + $150 quarterly supply fee... not bad but not worth it for what you get
