This review is more of a warning than a fair review of this business. Had the circumstances been…read moredifferent, I'm sure this would have been a GREAT tour, but it's the way that the company handled the circumstances that created a problem. Rule #1: IT CAN GET VERY COLD IN THE DESERT!!!!! It was an unusually cold day for Palm Desert and Joshua Tree. The Hummers are OPEN-AIR! No doors, no heater. This was an unusual day, and the tour should have been canceled. NONE of the 10 passengers were appropriately dressed to be comfortable on a 4-hour tour in 40-degree weather. This was plainly obvious to the driver, who even mentioned the fact that I was wearing sandals. NOT ONCE did he mention that perhaps we should consider walking back to our hotel room and getting warmer clothes!!! Even though the company's website clearly shows Hummers with some soft doors and other types of protection from the wind, these were nowhere in sight. On the good side, the tour guide did his best, but he seemed to be very unprepared for this situation. Apparently, it's supposed to warm up significantly as the morning goes on, but this never happened. Suffice it to say that you don't want to ride in an open-air Hummer at 40 degree temperatures with wind and improper clothing!!!!! I have been on MANY of these types of tours, and this wasn't a typical situation of bad weather....this could have easily ended up with someone getting hypothermia.

We are glad that we were able to find this service because we did not want to be on a bus tour. We like the idea of being able to have a private tour. We took the Mid-Century Modernism Tour. Our guide, Jack, was very professional and courteous. He was very informative and humorous at the same time, speaking in a dulcet tone; would be great in broadcasting. We liked that the tour was very interactive and we could ask Jack questions and he glibly answered them. We enjoyed checking out all the landmarks and various neighborhoods to get a sense of what Palm Springs was about (a really interesting and welcoming desert oasis for sure!). When we come back to Palm Springs, we are going to check out Jack's other tours.

Our group of 3 tested their limits and found them fully satisfactory in all areas. My wife and & had a friend from New Jersey who unexpectedly had one half of a day free and had never been to Palm Springs. Jack A. would be our guide for a 2 1/2 hour tour of celebrities homes and local places of interest. The problem was that we did not know when we would get into town. Jack A was completely flexible with the times and ended up giving us a night tour. Jack was knowledgeable with not only the homes but also the stories of celebrities' true experiences. His information flow was non-stop and very interesting. Also, he had a professional quality voice. He allowed us to dally or get out of the car he provided. He was patient and accommodating. The cost was very, repeat very, affordable for our group of 3 and I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Palm Springs. I doubt most of the residents know what we do. Thank you, Jack, for a great tour!

We originally had the Hummer sunset tour scheduled for Saturday -- the day before, the owner (Jerry) texted to alert us to an issue with the vehicle and offered to rebook us for a private van tour on Sunday morning. He refunded us the difference. Our tour guide Tom was great. After entering the park, he played two songs from U2's Joshua Tree album to set the stage. He answered ALL of our questions, shared a lot of information about the area, the plants, cowboy stories and more. And his playlist for the ride back - inspired by the desert - was great. He brought us to several spots for either a quick hike or a walk, or to take photos. He took photos for everyone who wanted them. Highly recommend!

They picked us up at our resort in an a/c van and drove along the San Andreas fault to take us to the Coachella Sanctuary. We went in the back way to the park....secluded and not crowded. We went up to Eureka peak and got out at a few places for pictures. The wildlife we saw was jack rabbits, birds and lizards. We had great weather in early October and thoroughly enjoyed the open air hummer.

We made an appointment to come meet with her as we were looking forward to Booking our vacation that day we all took time out of our busy schedules as it was very difficult because they are closed weekends We asked Shari if she could recommend some resorts and her response was well there's just so many. I of course had lots of questions naturally since it would be our first time traveling to this destination. She would not answer my questions but very condescendingly said I'm giving you all the information to take home. When we finally got a quote for a very nice resort that we all liked. To our surprise it was a lot more expensive as we had looked up prices online previously. Her solution for us was and I quote "if it's too expensive for you".. You can come home a day early.... so insulting I felt that she could've offered to look into other resorts that were in our budget. Which she did offered to do. But she said... I will not be able to do it today which was disappointing to all of us as we look forward to sealing the deal to our trip that day. Instead she said she would email us more information and said let me walk you to the door. Insinuating she was in a rush. I would not recommend at all
