They have good instructors, very friendly staff, good lab environments and provide phenomenal snacks and refreshments (we had a full plate of McDonalds McMuffins waiting for us on a Friday morning). There is also always a fresh pot of coffee available at all times (essential to any IT Professional). The training itself was great. The courses were taught at a good pace and the instructors were able to sit down with each of us to help us get through exercises and problems. Great hands on experience with both real-world and example based exercises. The only thing I would suggest is possibly stretching the hours for overall course time. Specifically when I took my advanced Java Course, I didn't find 3 days was enough for me to fully take in and retain all of the materials. We ended up having rush through a few elements and skipped over some of the sections completely. Overall, 4/5. But 5/5 since I want to bump it up from the 1 star review (below)... I would definitely not hesitate go back. They are also located in a great area (directly situated in front of the World Exchange Plaza).

She helped us out a great deal. The course my daughter took was 30 hours on line theory and 10 hours of actually driving. The price was very competitive. The Driving Instructor was Gihad Qassem who was also excellent. My 16 year old daughter said Gihad was very professional, funny, knew how to teach, and made the driving lessons very enjoyable. My daughter took her G2 Driving test two days after passing the Drivers Education course, SHE PASSED the first time, so Jim's Driving School and Gihad must be doing something right! We highly recommend Jim's Driving School on Bank Street in Ottawa.
