I got chin liposuction done and had an amazing experience with Dr. Giselle at Exert BodySculpt! From my very first appointment, she took the time to understand my goals and made me feel totally at ease. She walked me through every detail with so much clarity, and I always felt informed and supported. The entire journey from the initial consult all the way through surgery day was seamless. The team there is incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the whole process even better! As for my results... I'm SO HAPPY! My jawline is SNATCHED and looks so natural. If you're thinking about getting chin lipo, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Giselle. 10/10! read more

Exert BodySculpt - chin lipo 6 months post op - Cosmetic Surgeons Near Me - Fort Myers, Florida

I had arm liposuction April 10 and regret it every day. Right away post-op I had numbness and weakness in my right hand. The team was very responsive the first weekend. They prescribed gabapentin and Prednisone. The numbness persisted so I went in for an in person appointment to have it looked at. The Dr and assistant were very amused and acted like I was overreacting. They checked my hand strength and said to each other that they thought my hand would have been much weaker, I guess based on my texts and calls. They assured me that there was a 98% chance the nerve would heal. I get that there's nothing they could do but I really felt dismissed. Long story short I had to have ulnar nerve release surgery on July 10. My pinky is still numb and only has 20% of its strength. Surgeon said it will probably be a year before it's full strength again. My arms look better but around my elbows is still very swollen and sore. To be fair they said it could take up to a year. I'm older and I'm sure that doesn't help. Just wanted to share my experience. Based on reviews I'm in the minority. Hope you have better results. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the post-surgical care provided by Dr. Giselle and Exert BodySculpt. Follow-up visits after surgery are conducted exclusively with medical assistants, and even when we specifically requested to see the doctor, we were told we would see her, only to arrive for the appointment and discover that she was not even in the office. We were ultimately told that appointments with Dr. Giselle are not available unless there is a surgical complication. I find this unacceptable. Patients deserve the opportunity to speak directly with their surgeon during the recovery process, ask questions, and receive reassurance about their healing without having to experience a complication first. Since my last follow-up, I have called and texted the office multiple times and left a voicemail requesting follow-up regarding post-procedure results. I have been completely ghosted, with no response by phone or text from anyone in the office. The overall experience has left me feeling that once the surgery is paid for, the level of attention and concern for the patient significantly declines. The post-operative experience is just as important as the procedure itself, and I expected much better communication, transparency, and access to the physician responsible for my care. read more

I have thought carefully about sharing my experience publicly because I believe prospective patients deserve important information before making an informed decision. On July 29, 2025, I underwent a surgical procedure with Dr. Carol Kim Le at Exert BodySculpt. Although the procedure was elective in the sense that it was not an emergency, it was undertaken because an MRI had documented bilateral intracapsular silicone implant rupture. What followed was an extremely difficult medical experience. I developed an open wound and infection, ultimately requiring treatment from other physicians, urgent care, infectious-disease specialists, a hospital admission of approximately five days, approximately two weeks of IV antibiotics at home, wound care, and months of recovery. I continue to have permanent scarring. I also believe patients should know that Dr. Le's official Florida Department of Health practitioner profile states under "Financial Responsibility" that she has decided not to carry malpractice insurance. The profile also states that she agrees to satisfy adverse judgments pursuant to Florida law and acknowledges the required patient notice regarding her decision not to carry medical malpractice insurance. I did not understand this before my procedure, and I believe it is information I would have wanted to know beforehand. Since my procedure, I have consulted with multiple attorneys. While obtaining representation is not impossible, I have found that the absence of traditional malpractice insurance can make pursuing a claim significantly more difficult. Medical malpractice cases already involve substantial costs for investigation, expert review, and litigation, and the financial considerations surrounding a physician who does not carry traditional malpractice insurance can create an additional obstacle for a patient seeking legal representation. I am not making a legal determination regarding negligence or liability. I am sharing my personal experience and publicly available information so prospective patients can ask the questions I wish I had asked. If you are considering a procedure with Dr. Le or Exert BodySculpt, I encourage you to ask about malpractice insurance or financial responsibility, who will participate in your procedure, the exact surgical plan, postoperative care, and what resources are available if a serious complication occurs. For me, this experience resulted in physical pain and suffering, fear, emotional distress, an extended recovery, additional medical treatment and expenses, permanent scarring, significant disruption to my life, and months of an unexpectedly difficult search for legal representation. I would make a very different decision today. read more

She refused follow up service for a botched procedure. Charged me but didn't fulfill promises made by her and her staff. Horrible doctor

I underwent multiple cosmetic procedures due to loose skin on front of thighs and cellulite on the back. Procedures included lipo, Renuvion, Avéli, and a thigh lift, and this has honestly been one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I spent over $14,000 expecting quality care and improvement in my appearance, but instead I was left with terrible results, tissue damage, fibrosis, and permanent scars. The thigh lift in particular does not even look like a thigh lift was properly performed, yet I now have visible scarring and damaged tissue. My body looks worse than before the procedures. Due to the poor outcome and development of fibrosis, Dr. Kim had to redo parts of my surgery. Unfortunately, the revision still did not correct the issues. As I explained to her, the skin was not properly tightened. After Dr. Kim moved locations, I met with her virtually regarding my ongoing concerns. She acknowledged the problems and stated she would fix them, recommending ultrasonic cavitation and another thigh lift revision. That conversation took place two months ago, and since then she has failed to return my calls or emails. What has been most upsetting is the complete lack of proper post-operative follow-up care and communication. I now have severe slightly painful swelling in my knees and uneven skin. After spending this amount of money and trusting this provider with my body, I expected accountability, support, and professional aftercare. Instead, I have been left with poor cosmetic results, scarring, emotional distress, and no resolution. read more

Uneven lumpy lipo, nipple height is 2 inches off now due to un even fat transfer, a chunk is missing from my lower back which i have permanent nerve damage from and also an MRI showed muscle loss due to the nerve damage. i went back for a followup and was offered more lipo and tightening to even out the stomach, implants for the breast (i just spent $$$ for fat transfer to not do implants) and no solution offered for the missing chunk except more lipo above it to make it less noticeable.  The scar above the buttocks had to be re done by a plastic surgen because they left it so open after going through it twice to drain fluid buildup. It left a hole so big you can stick your finger in it! Its 2 years after now and i had to get scar revision surgery on the scar above the buttocks,  and get correction/revision done for the stomach.  The missing lower back chunk has had to have filler, which will have to be re done now every couple of months, costing never ending money for that. The nipple scar Giselle said to get permanent tattoo color over it! She is actually not board certified ( I found out afterwards) and after me asking 3 times "you are the one doing the surgery correct? Because there was another man sitting in a small room with a surgical mask..she answers Yes each time. Then that same man, i never met comes in and does most of the surgery.  They also didn't speak English most of the time to each other. It was very strange, and they kept telling me to suck in the gas and bringing me pills.  I was also over dossed on pain meds to the point i was vomiting.  No i do not recommend. read more

I would give them 1 star if I could. They completely screwed up my surgery. They went back in to "fix it" which only made it worse, They broke HIPPA laws as well. The practice owner refused to speak with me. They offered excuse and excuse with no apologies. They told me they could go back in again and try to fix it, and oh by the way, they wanted to charge me $1000+ to do so. I went for a 2nd opinion at another office. That doctor quickly saw what Dr. Carol Kim Le did wrong, explained I was sold services not needed and explained what was needed to fix it. Hilariously enough, that office is who Exert referred me to after they refused to see me further after I caught a staff member in a lie. RUN, DON'T WALK and get as far away from this clinc as you possibly can!! These people are not to be trusted. read more

AWFUL awful awful!!!!! I had surgery by dr Giselle over 6 months ago and I had the WORST experience ever. I was promised all these amazing results and my body looks worse now than when I went in for my consult. I even sent in pictures before and during consultation, and after surgery and I didn't hear anything back from them and after speaking with them a few times all I get is "someone will call back to discuss" and no one returns my calls!! ITS BEEN MONTHS OF WAITING FOR "someone to call back". Ive had surgeries with other plastic surgeons such as Dr Garramone and if i ever had a question or an issue they call back immediately and resolve it. This place is extremely unprofessional and I wish I never had surgery done here. read more

Awesome all the way. They truly care and take care of all your needs and concerns. Great results.

I'm 50, live a very active lifestyle, and lost weight with ozempic. I was left with some loose skin and stubborn fullness under my chin that didn't match the rest of my body. I had been following Dr. Giselle on social media for a while, so when she opened an office closer to me I booked a consult. The consult process was simple and done online. The doctor recommended chin liposuction with skin tightening. The recovery was manageable, and the results are natural but dramatic. My jawline is defined again!!! I was back to playing pickleball 2 weeks later. read more

I am a patient, I have the Operative Report to prove it. This facility is lying about negative reviews not being patients. v Worst experience of my life. Highly unprofessional, terrible results. The lymphatic masseuse told me that all her clients from Dr G have burns, lumpy lipo, and are treated terribly. Make sure to do your research and go to a board certified plastic surgeon and not a chop shop style facility. Please report your negative experience to the Florida Board of Medicine. You can find this at Florida Health dot go read more

Love doctor Giselle and her team. I was very skeptical about getting Botox treatments and they made me feel so at ease and comfortable than I ended up going back for another treatment 3 months later. I also get my facial peelings done with her and love the final result: smooth and clear skin. Highly recommend. read more

The best breast lift and breast augmentation plastic surgeon in Fort Myers Florida! I had my dream surgery that I have always wanted at Exert BodySculpt in Fort Myers Florida thanks to Dr. Kim! She is so caring, supportive and understanding. Thanks to Dr Kim she has literally changed my self-confidence and the way I feel about myself. I feel and look like a million bucks! Thanks to Dr Kim, I no longer have hanging, sagging, thin, life less breasts! After having three children my breast are just gone! I was also worried am I too old to do this? I'm a smidge over 50 and I didn't know if this was even a possibility? Let me tell you you are not too old! You cannot imagine the incredible results that I received from my surgery with Dr Kim! It is so amazing! I cannot tell you this was the best decision that I have ever made! I did not want to be put to sleep for a surgery it is always been a big huge fear I have always had in my life. I never wanted to be put under and I never had surgery before. I wanted local anesthesia, I did not want to be put to sleep I wanted local anesthesia and awake breast augmentation surgery and I wanted to find a female doctor, a doctor who was experienced with doing local anesthesia for a breast lift and breast augmentation. So my recovery time would be faster. Because there was no way I was going to let someone put me to sleep and knock me out when I knew it could be done with local anesthesia faster recovery time and also it's less money. My list of what I wanted in a surgeon was huge! I spent tons of time researching breast lift and breast augmentation doctors in Florida. I do not live in Fort Myers, I live about an hour and a half away. I was so lucky to find Dr Kim and so lucky that she was able to take me as her patient! I went in for my surgery at 8:00 a.m. on a Monday morning and by lunch time I cannot tell you I was a completely different person. It was everything that I wanted and even more! I couldn't believe it! I have beautiful breasts now that are gorgeous perky and full of life! No more hanging saggy boobs for me! I am so happy with my results! My breast look better now than when I was in my early twenties before I had my three children! She is so truly amazing! She takes her time, she listens, she cares so much about her patients and her work is unbelievable! Her staff is truly amazing! Sophia who answers the phone and books your appointments is so super nice! You will absolutely love her! Her entire staff was so truly amazing to me. Dr Kim and her surgical team that took care of me on the day of my surgery was truly amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Kim for breast lift and breast augmentation it was the best decision I have ever made for myself! I am truly blessed that I was lucky enough to find the right doctor that had the experience to deal with how bad my breasts were! Yesterday, I actually went through all of my bras and not one of them fit me! I threw them all in the garbage! It was the most amazing feeling ever! No more saggy hanging thin pancake boobs for me! Now I walk into my bathroom and look in the mirror and I'm like I cannot believe this is me and it is so awesome! Monday will be 8 weeks since my surgery and this weekend I am going bra shopping I am so excited! I am super excited that I'm finally going to look normal wearing any kind of blouse or shirt. I also will be able to wear any kind of bathing suit that I want and not have to put a big huge t-shirt over my bathing suit because I was so embarrassed of my chest! Thank you Dr Kim for changing my life and giving me back the confidence that I really needed! I did not put my name on my review or upload any photos that is a private thing for me and I didn't want my photos or my name on the internet. But I did want to share my story for other women who might be in my situation. I hope my review helps any one who has saggy hanging boobs, and anyone who is over 50 years old. Because yes you can have this done! You're not too old! It is so life-changing! If you do get a consultation you can also ask to see the photos from this review they always keep the patients information confidential which is so important when you have something like this done but if you do look at their pictures at their office of the breast lift augmentation you will be able to see my surgery results. I'm also saving my money so I can do awake tummy tuck with Dr Kim I cannot wait until I can have this done! I am praying I will have enough money to have this done before I have to go back to work! Thank you Dr Kim for everything you have done for me! read more

Today instead of buying a xmas gift for my daughter. I had to pay a bill for a deposit for a procedure that i never received. I was pressured into giving a deposit at 8 PM for a procedure that i was very scared about. Instead of doing the right thing. Dr. G did a fat transfer to breast and was supposed to take from hips to breasts. I few days before procedure I asked to include the left leg, the staff members acting like it was a major problem, told me it would costs an additional 1,000$ I paid it. When I went in for the procedure the doctor only did my legs never did lipo in my hips at all!?? When I asked her she said I never paid for it, that I didn't pay for lipo 360, but during our consult that's what we discussed her doing, and the original contract I signed. When I went back to look at my contract they deleted it. They are a shady money hungry company. read more

BOTCHED LIPO! Dr. Giselle Is NOT A CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON. DO YOUR Hm Work. MD- Family Practice, Cosmetic. HUGE Difference. During my consultation, I addressed my main concerns: removing fat from my upper arms W/OUT having saggy skin & fat on my lower hips referred to as dog ears. I was told NO PROBLEM with her skin tightening technique I would have NO SAGGY skin (NOT TRUE refer to photos shortly after the procedure BEFORE I lost weight on my OWN) Before I saw her (size 8) My Arms were Never SAGGY & the dog ears would be easily removed during a 360 procedure I was Sold On. After spending over 15k GISELLE bragged about being expensive but well worth it. Stroking her EGO because she wrote a book (ANYONE Can Do) Her quote "My goal is to help my patients attain the aesthetic/beauty they've Always Dreamed Of Is a Joke & WASTE OF MONEY! During my final follow-up, I expressed I had NO major changes after the entire procedure but focused on my org Main concerns only to be yelled at Unprofessionally " Sorry, I can't Treat Saggy Skin (Isn't SKIN TIGHTENING her motto?) but I can send you elsewhere/costing me more money & if that doesn't work get an Arm Lift. Then argued w/me saying she did do my Dog Ears. After showing her they were still there her reply "That area Can't be done" 1000% a LIE. Plastic Surgeons I met w/before & today CAN DO IT. Bottom Line she's nothing but a GLORIFIED Med Spa that charges more than an Avg CERTIFIED Plastic Surgeon. WHO DOES'NT STAND BEHIND HER WORK? DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE. I've Had Plastic surgery several times Any reputable Certified Plastic Surgeon would do anything to Correct/make you Happy & be Honest w/you IT DOES HURT Getting both procedures w/out going under but REMEMBER She's NOT a CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON. She's using her Business Degree to contour her Wallet! SHAME On You Giselle!STAR read more

My previous review was removed from google so here we go again...Synopsis- (MY EXPERIENCE) thousands of dollars paid to this practice 2 weeks before procedure, was told 3 days later that I needed to pay but had already sent proof that I had right after I did. I almost had a heart attack, no one answered my calls so I had to go in person to resolve. I was constantly called the wrong name. Doctor's bedside ( in my opinion) was extremely rude and condescending. I went to the hospital that night after the procedure and the dr does not have an overnight line so I could not ask her. I felt like I could not breath (related to chin lipo is what I was told by dr at ER) . Lipo was traumatizing and EXCRUTIATINGLY PAINFUL. Laughing gas fell out of my mouth during procedure, no one was there to give it back to me so I had to wait for someone to walk by to ask them to please hand it to me( wasn't wiped/cleaned before being given back) but I didn't care because the pain was no joke. I gave permission to have my pictures posted but after my experience I wanted nothing to do with the practice beyond my follow-ups and requested they be removed. They are STILL posted AND with very falsifying stats - for Instance - I am 5'0 and they put I am 5'7 - They said I am 177 pounds and I am 145. This is tricking people. I chose this practice based on other people with stats similar to mine so this is NOT a minor detail. I am at fault for choosing convenience (location) over the details I believe to be most important so overall this was my mistake but I stand firm and don't believe that anyone should be subjected to what I endured. Not everything is as it seems... Hope this is/will not be your experience. read more
