The ride itself was fine and our driver, Antonio was great. HOWEVER, prior to the ride itself, I contacted the company and spoke with Gian Paolo, who was so incredibly rude, unkind, unsympathetic when I asked, more than 12 hours prior to my scheduled pick up, for a possibility of a later pick up because I was afraid I didn't have enough time to claim my baggage. I only dock stars from this review due to his attitude of disrespect towards his clients, but the driver Antonio was the exact opposite. I have carefully checked and searched on line, to ensure that I am posting my comments ref the same company. Reading the comments below there are no doubts. Although my booking from Rome airport was done via a different app, / supplier, they are using this guys, so if can try to avoid them. in 2 words Rude and arrogant and the last attitude once need after a long flight going on vacation. so guys, the suggestion is to avoid this transport company, phone numbers they use and my chat with them, is pasted below. I called the contact person the day before we fly back to the US from Rome. He curtly told me I was sent and email and was suppose to confirm 48 hrs prior. Really?! I'm on holiday I don't always have access to wifi! And I didn't receive any emails from them. It must have gone straight to spam mail. I provided these people with my cell number so they can reach me but they didn't even bother to call. He had the audacity to get angry when I had a hard time understanding his thick Indian accent. Never ever again. Booked this shuttle service from Rome's airport to our hotel so that we would be able to get their quickly so that we could get to our first thing that we signed up for at the Vatican as quickly as possible. Unfortunately our flight in Canada to Rome was delayed by 18 hours! (side note: don't take Air canada, late takeoff every time) So I emailed this company about 2 hours before they were supposed to come pick us up to tell them our flight was finally cancelled and we were leaving the next day. I got a lovely email back an hour later saying, sorry, we're already on our way so you are out of luck. Lost $100. They never came and picked us up and we had to take a taxi into town. We booked this company through viator.com. Never going to use them again either. Emailed them 4 days ago and they said they would respond to my complaint within two days. Just get to the airport and take a taxi, was much more convenient and cost about 60 euros. Will never book a shuttle again considering the airplanes always arrive late!!!
