Phoenix is by far the best golf metro in the United States in my opinion so I knew things weren't going to be the same, but this course was a breath of fresh air. Not only is the course well maintained it has some excellent views of the Black Hills. A major component I look at when judging a golf course in how well the greens are maintained and these greens are in excellent condition-extremely hard (as in difficult) but great. Have talked to several members that concur that this is the best course in town-would recommend to anyone looking to play a challenging and beautiful course.

The scenery was cool with some nice mountains in the background. The Marshall keeps everyone moving so there's not to much waiting at each hole. The regular dining room was closed due to COVID 19, but the regular menu was being offered in the Pub. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi with couscous. It was delicious. My husband had a burger which he liked. The flourless chocolate cake was delicious. The staff was great! Had a wonderful time.
