They value the time and money of potential residents much higher than that of current residents no matter how long you've lived there. I was walked in on while asleep and half clothed by maintenance men not once but TWICE without them knocking. This is about as close as you can get to being in an HOA without ever having signed up to be in one. They are strict and often passive aggressive including but not limited to threatening to drain the pools if residents can not "cooperate" with their rules. Children are not allowed in pool areas even with adults. I also frequently had to keep my thermostat around 75 degrees to keep my apartment above a hoodie temp. due to poor insulation. Beware.

I didn't leave the place in perfect shape but as someone with family in construction and renovation I guarantee you it was NOT worth that much. What the hell is the point of a deposit at that point? Sure it has a lot of nice reviews but interesting that they're all from 8 years ago, around the time the place was nearly done being built. Likely a promotion ran where they gave some perk to people leaving nice reviews. They're nice at first but the moment you're in there it literally feels like you cannot LIVE there. You have passive aggressive management sending rude letters and emails- to the point now where any notice from a landlord sends my anxiety up the roof, even to this day when I live in a HOUSE now. Management, don't even bother responding to this because I'm not reading your responses. I don't trust you enough to give you my real name, because knowing you, you'd be awful. At this point, I don't trust you to actually be genuine in anything you say. Everything is a nice platitude to get the next lease in your roster so you can rip someone else off.

Told me…read morerenting an apartment is just like owning a house and that I would be required to pay the entire rent amount for that month. The hallway also reeks of mold and rotten garbage. I would also have trouble breathing at night in my apartment. My unit also had a huge dust problem. I would vacuum every 2 days and the vacuum would be completely full. I don't have any pets and I would have two hepa filters running all day long everyday. The washer and dryer were also extremely low quality. Drying a load of clothes would take about 3 hours or more. I am also pretty sure that this apartment complex doesn't have a water softener and the water is extremely hard in Madison. For such a high cost of rent, 306 is not worth it.

Bus routes also are around the corner, as are bikes to rent. And let's not forget the Dane County Farmers' Market on and around The Square! Plus a myriad of other free musical events always but a stone's throw away. The list goes on.... A 2023 sojourn in Madison found me not just relishing every day I lived at 306 West, but having this experience indelibly tucked into my memoirs under the category, "What A Wonderful Life." And the icing on the cake for me was the presence and personalities of Property Manager Michelle Vacha and Leasing Specialist Amanda Cassarini, who make living at 306 West cool--very, very cool indeed!

no camera in the mailroom. There are always mail packages laying all over the apartment mailroom…read more I think there are at least 200 units in the building. Some of my packages were missing after the Amazon tracker said they were delivered. After calling Amazon to let them know what's going on, Amazon decided to give me a refund. I sent emails to the building office to let them know what's going on. all they did was to blame things on me, Amazon, the mail delivery service, to deflect the blame. I am not saying the office is to blame for what happen to my packages, but not a single word of concern from them, and not trying to improve the situation, not taking a security measure action is bad. The mailroom is in an isolated corner of the building, away from the public area and the public view. There is no camera in the mailroom where anyone can walk in and just grab anything they want and walk out. There is no way to know what's going on unless you are there to watch everyone come in and out. The office repeatedly mentioned that nothing ever got stolen from the mailroom. Well, now they can say at least ONE TIME THERE HAS BEEN AN INCIDENT because I filed a police report on the missing packages. install a camera in the mailroom, do something about people stealing/mixing up the packages. Do something, anything is better than denial from the people who can make the changes. Be aware, people will steal your stuff out of the mailroom and you will find your packagers missing, this is happening everywhere. but the office won't do anything about it. All they offer is empty words that are worth less than their service. They charge the premium price for the minimum to no service.
