We had a fantastic experience with Academics Plus in getting an SSAT Flex test for my child. Due to…read moreCOVID, the SSAT has turned to an all online SSAT at home. We didn't think that would be the best approach for our child so I asked around about alternatives and was so happy to be referred to Academics Plus for a paper-based Flex test. Alexa with Academics Plus made the process very easy for me! After an online inquiry, she reached out with a phone call to explain their process and fees. I was able to schedule a test on my preferred date with no problems and Alexa kept in communication with me via email right up until test date to ensure I was aware of SSAT requirements, their COVID protocols, and generally able to answer any questions I had. Due to COVID, they are limiting entry into the facility at this time, so on the day of the test, I walked my 6th grader to the door and she met us there. She was very warm and made sure he was comfortable before they entered to go take the test. He was able to take the test in a private room and because there was nobody else in the room with him, he was able to unmask during the test, which made it a more comfortable experience for him. I have already recommended Academics Plus to friends but would want to share our positive experience with anyone looking for a paper-based SSAT option or generally needing a Flex test for the SSAT.

My daughter filled out an interests form and was matched up with Salma as her tutor. Salma connected well upon their first zoom session, relating to my daughter and her specific tutoring needs. I highly recommend this business and Salma, specifically, if you have a student in need of SAT/ACT tutoring services.

Best of all, Vik helped my son move from failing high school math to passing with a 94! I will definitely be using HiFive again!

It is in a huge plaza with LA fitness and Dollar Tree, behind the Chick-Fil-A. They had the best pricing of all the places I searched online and it came out to $45 for BLS renewal where most places were charging $60+. I didn't know what to expect with COVID, but they adapted the classes to meet COVID standards. Masks were required, and there were only 3 other people in my class and we were all spaced 6 feet apart. The instructor was great! They do use the AHA DVD and will have you practice along with it and must pass a test at the end. They usually will have a morning session and afternoon session. My session was at 1pm and lasted around 1-1.5 hours, which I felt like was shorter than some of the other classes I've had at other places. Easy peasy. Highly recommend!

Her course is 6 weeks long, with a 3-hour class once per week. This allows plenty of home study/practice time in between. All the materials are included in the class. In addition to learning skills which will make childbirth easier, at the end of each class she does a relaxing hypnosis, so I always leave feeling refreshed. As an added bonus, she even provides healthy snacks! While I only went for HypnoBabies classes, Stephanie also works as a doula and offers placenta encapsulation services. If you're not already familiar with these two services and you are pregnant, do some research. I had a doula present for my second child and that made a huge difference in my birthing experience. I wish I would've known all the benefits of placenta encapsulation back then too.
