Rather than listening, answering questions, or attempting to help, he seemed more interested in shutting the conversation down as quickly as possible. His attitude came across as dismissive and condescending, and at no point did I feel like he was interested in providing customer service. What frustrated me most wasn't that my issue couldn't be resolved. It was the complete lack of effort, professionalism, and basic courtesy. If this is the standard of service at this branch, customers deserve to know before wasting their time. I left without a resolution and with far less confidence in Bank of America than when I walked in.

i held two cd's at the fulton st, san francisco location at that branch…read more from their opening at that location which was inside a lucky grocery store. that poppy branch closed in sept due to the closure of the grocery store. no replacement branch, permanent or temporary, anywhere in the city was opened for sf customers. beginning two years prior to the closing there was public knowledge that the grocery store might close. perhaps corporate should have been on top of things. ? proactive perhaps? talk about very poor service to its customers- there is not an expected date for any new branch in sf. they now expect me to travel to millbrae or another out of city location in order to close my account and receive my funds. in 2026 this bank cannot or will not electronically send my cd balance to my checking acct at a major bank. how can a bank that promotes to its customers that they are in the process of opening new branches all over the state and not have a branch in sf? it boggles the mind.

If you work a 9-5 pm job, the branch is not available to these customers and this does not serve them well. If the advantage of banking here is having a brick and mortar building to do your banking, this lack of availability has created a lost of incentive to remain a Wells Fargo customer. The many on-line banks are becoming much more appealing plus their high yield savings accounts offer much more interest on your savings. After 35 years of banking at WF, not sure it makes sense any more.
