I had an old cast iron pipe in my 113 year old house that had sprung a leak. Mark came over, went over the whole house, upstair, downstairs, and in the basement, just checking everything out as long as he was there, and didn't charge a service fee. He said replacing the old pipe was the best bet, nothing else was causing any issues. He got the parts and was back the next day to work on it till it was fixed. I highly recommend him!

I had to hire another plumber to correct the installation mistakes which Mark made installing my combined boiler and heater, it costed me additional 3,000$ to close the huge hole that Mark dug underneath my basement, he never mentioned to me that closing this property will require additional special resources. Finally Mark could not provide a very simple and cost effective solution to the problem I had with heating the bathroom, he offered an approach that would be very complex time consuming and very expensive while my new plumber resolved the issue with a very simple solution. Mark is not someone I would recommend to anyone.

Contacted Delta Doors and More after garage door opener failures on both of our doors…read moresimultaneously. I contacted Chamberlain first and learned that our belts and pulleys were still under warranty so they would send out replacements but my husband was reluctant to attempt the repair. Set up a service appointment and they were not only able to come out quickly - they also did not charge a trip fee - a true rarity from living in a rural place where everyone charges one. Repairs were made and doors adjusted and made to operate quietly like new. They're now supposed to return to do some work on our barn garage doors and I expect the same level of professionalism and excellent service. Long story short is that if you are on the Western Slope, and especially if you're in Paonia or Hotchkiss, do yourself a favor and call Delta Doors and Moore...you won't regret it!

Beware of this guy. His quote for a new RV air conditioner was hard to accept but I was willing to do so as it was the weekend during a heatwave. On Monday I was able to locate a new unit at a reputable dealer in town and when I informed Mr. Lucero that I needed installation only, he confirmed that he would be there first thing in the morning to install it. Mid-morning I called him and he claimed to not know who I was. When I made further calls, he did not pick up. I had to break camp and tow my RV to the reputable dealer who installed the unit in a timely manner at a reasonable price. The dealer did the install and disposed of the old unit at no additional cost whereas Mr. Lucero was going to charge $280 for disposal.

Billy took…read morethe ideas in our dreams, drew up beautiful plans from our sketches, and executed the build with excellence, honesty and integrity. We have never seen a home framed this well (and most of our subs said the same thing). This house is SOLID. This winter has proved just how solid it really is. Billy uses good materials and doesn't skimp on quality. Quality is definitely what we got from Design Build Unlimited -- in all areas. There are so many things we love about this builder. He allows you to dream and then works hard to give you that dream. He has great ideas -- ones you would have never thought of. He doesn't force those ideas on you but works WITH you. Billy makes things happen. He treats his subs well (that's important to us) and chooses subs which deliver a superb product. He is conscientious, dedicated and wants his homes to be like ones in which he would live. He honors the thoughts of his clients and will give you clear direction if you are uncertain. He won't leave things to chance. We all know it's expensive to build a home and Billy tries to help you find good, solid solutions for making everything work together in your budget. He stands behind his word.....absolutely. We didn't know the Huttos before we moved here. Now they feel like a part of our family. We've built a home once before and our experience was not like this one. It was very troubling, actually. That builder was dishonest. THIS experience was the way it should be with any builder. You won't have to worry about being cheated with this company. Our home was worth the wait. Covid brought many challenges during our build. Our builder weathered all of them and worked even harder. That's the sign of a good builder who CARES. He cares not only about the product he delivers but he cares about his clients. There is no other company I can more highly recommend than Design Build Unlimited. 200% satisfaction and more............ If you want a home built RIGHT, THIS is the company to call.
