Avoid this place. My wife was here for almost a year. She's bed-ridden and requires 24-hour care…read more For what they charge per month, they gave her next to nothing for services. No speech therapy, physical therapy, zero, nothing. There was a constant rotation of staff turnover and many of them seemingly knew nothing about my wife's sore shoulders and would sometimes be rough and hurt her while changing her or washing her. Many times she was made to lie for many hours without being changed. She was miserable. Don't allow your loved ones to go to this horrible place.

I sent this to Compliance as well…read more These are message I received yesterday and this morning from my wife. 'Call bell on for an hour for pain med answered after roommate called the front desk for herself. Just getting around to washing us. Roommate is on the phone. Wound nurse left me in a painful position without bed control or table. Very poor care. I can't get anyone to do anything extra. A lot of them [Aides] don't talk to me. Roommate gets the same treatment. I wish I could find a way to go home. This is so depressing. Last night we both of us needed changes so we told someone at 8:00. No one came despite putting the call light multiple times. It was midnight before someone came!!! 1:00 before we got to sleep! 5 hours sitting in pee and poop!!! This place is really bad and they don't care! Get me out!!! I'm in tears daily.'

That Administrative staff could not be worse! the "Anti"Social workers are horrible. the Director of Nursing is an over paid gorilla. PT and OT and the L{Ns are the only things making the place bearable. Family members cannot get in contact with anyone on the staff and the Administrator spends more time walking the parking lot looking for parking violations than worrying about running the facility.God forbid you should be a lucid patient and expect to be treated kike a human being not just a check from Medicare. I won't even get into the fraud that they commit there. Dr. charged for visits he never performed. for a year and 1/2!

Review Part 1: I…read morewanted to give my experience at Marlborough Hills because it was terrible and I hope no one has to go here. Do not send yourself or anyone you care about here as they will not get proper care. The first area I want to touch upon is the Physical Therapy team. They were amazing. I had been sent here for physical therapy and I did stay because they got me stronger and helped with my needs. Unfortunately it was only an hour a day, but they are the only functioning team that place has. So I wanted to give them positive words before I jump into the negative. Now to begin for all the reasons not to go here. Bed Bugs! While I was there, there were two cases of bed bugs. The first was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Housekeeping came into the room and started just bagging my belongings. I was confused and had to ask what they were doing. Apparently the room we share a conjoining bathroom with came down with bed bugs. So they needed to bag our belongings and get us out of the room to clean. I asked if they were exterminating and was told the exterminator was coming after they clean. We left the room and they did their thing and I had double checked that they did exterminate and they said yes. Friday comes after Thanksgiving now and we were being yelled out to get out of the room again because the exterminators were here. I was confused as I was told they did this Wednesday and now I was being told they never did and they are here now. So I guess Wednsday I was sent back to my room without proper protocol being completed and I was lied to about it. Then a month later, the same room came down with bed bugs again. And once again, the administrators tried to hide it. This time our room wasn't cleaned or exterminated. They just ignored our room even though the concern should have been the same. Transportation: If you are going here and are going to need follow up medical appointments and cannot get yourself there, this place will not help you. I had a follow up appointment for my broken leg and they had 2 weeks to get me a ride to my appointment. My appointment was for November 30th. I told them the doctor was squeezing me in for this appointment and we could not miss it. The person in charge of helping me was the social worker Lynne Wilson. She was the most useless human I have ever met. Whenever I would ask for an update she would just ignore me. I asked multiple CNA's, Nurses and physical therapists to send her a message that I wanted to talk to her, and they would do this, but she would never come down to talk to me. Me, My mom and my insurance company also all tried leaving her voicemails and she ignored them all. The day of the appointment is now here and that is when they told me they don't have a ride for me. And that they basically won't be able to find me one. At this point Physical Therapy stepped in to come up with a way to get me to my appointment. They suggested I try to hop into my Moms van so I could get to my appointment rather than rely on Lynn trying to find me transportation again. This is also after Lynn lied to my insurance company and said she had found a van service that could accommodate me. Once PT came up with a solution, that is when Lynne finally paid me a visit to try and tell me she came up with this solution when it was physical therapy who did all the work. And when they rescheduled the appointment, they did it for January 11th. So an appointment I needed on November 30th, they thought was okay to do it over a month later. We ended up making our own appointment and got me there with the no help from the administration staff. Medication Issues: Thank god I am sound of mind. When some of the nurses would bring you meds, half the time they couldn't remember what they were giving you. If I didn't recognize one of mine I would ask and they would go, I don't remember the name. And instead of going to check they would just stare at me like just take it. So I would refuse medication that I knew I wasn't taking. And other times, they would Forget my medication so I would ask for the nurse and be like how come I didn't get this med. Sometimes it was they were busy and didn't get To it yet. Sometimes it would be they were out of stock. And one of the worst times was the nurse didn't have the key to the medicine drawer so she just wasn't gonna give me the meds Instead of getting the key. So make sure you know what meds you are suppose to be taking and that you get them. I had a fever at one point that was 103 degrees and I kept asking the nurse for help and she brushed me off. Physical therapy came in and told me I looked like Hell and took my temp for me. Then the nurse finally came in when they intervened and couldn't figure out how to even take my temp. That's when I decided I should go to the ER because I was In danger staying at this facility.
