Melissa no longer works there. I had things done under her regime. Things that got fixed are broken again. Going to see if New management can fix my situation. So I have no other choice but to give it one star until things get rectified. I also recommend that "New" management distance themselves from previous management! Old management is catching up with new one and giving it a bad vibe to say the least. read more

Don't trust them. They billed my insurance company a small fortune less than 2 years ago and the new roof on my travel trailer they put it on using the wrong sealant and it is cracked leaking and has caused more damage. Melissa says the new shop is trying to get the most they can and I should bring it back to Excel (not going to happen). This place makes promise after promise and underdelivers on all of them. I am now having the roof repaired done at a reputable shop. They refuse to take any responsibility and are blaming everyone except themselves. read more

I brought our2022 passenger bus in for repair on lift and check engine light. and Rick(owner) also noted we were missing a gas cap and bumper was really bent we needed these things fixed but didn't think to ask about it, and he fixed everything. took the time to insure it was done right. note we took our buses there in the past and service was bad under Melissa management but now she's gone and the owner (Sophia Banks) has taken over every thing and I'll say I'm glad I decided to give them a chance she's amazing and Rick did an awesome job!! i highly recommend giving them your business if like me you had problems in the past. read more

100% would never recommend anyone going here. I had my vehicle dropped off here, and $9000 later I left with a front leaking tire valve, fingerprints all over the interior walls, a broken latch on the front hood and it was like pulling teeth to remind them that we NEEDED the rear AC fixed (which it wasn't because they forgot). They are not reliable and their customer service is garbage. You cannot get a hold of anyone past 3:30pm because they leave early, even though the shop is listed it's open until 5pm, and just overall terrible communication between all parties; shop and customer. I truly don't understand why people don't take pride in what they do. Please don't bring any vehicle here that you appreciate, because you will be overcharged and they will under-deliver or break something and not take responsibility. Hope this helps someone who was considering read more

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!! Just some background info we purchased a used RV that needed some work. We took it to EXCEL palm beach with a detailed list. Even though it took EXCEL a month to return the coach we were very patient no problem. After getting the first bill I got a gut feeling I was overcharged for the work done. Although I have no evidence of that. EXCEL serviced the generator and said everthing is working. Got back home ran the unit for about 20 minutes it stopped working, same problem. Ok no big deal, we took the coach back in they kept it for a week or so. We had a 90 day warranty on all repairs. When we went to pick up the coach EXCEL handed us a bill for almost 400.00 (by the way its still not fixed). The owner Rick Singleton who spends very little time there was actually there. I was not happy with this bill and addressed my concerns. He proceeded to gaslight me with alot of BS. Keep in mind Rick Singleton is the owner of this company. He lost control started screaming profanities. I won't post the words but called me every name in the book. Finally after all was said he did not make me pay the bill. Even though I still have a warranty with EXCEL, I will not take my coach back to EXCEL. I've wrote 3 reviews in my entire life. The other 2 were good ones. I URGE ALL COACH OWNERS NOT TO USE EXCEL!!! read more

i'm updating this review as the issue was mostly resolved. the following is the business response to why i had to pay for warranty work and wait for a reimbursement. i can understand that the business is frustrated with cummins and their policies and procedures, but if it was made clear up front that excel will charge the customer and then reimburse the customer whatever amount they get from cummins, maybe this would have not been an issue. i received the cummins check to reimburse you. the total amount is $404.58. i hope you now will understand why i dont wait and bill cummins and ask the customer to be reimbursed. it is a hassle and they do not pay what is billed. you can contact cummins in regards to the difference in the billed amount. i am sorry for your inconvenience but do know i truly tried to be kind and assist you with your concerns and repair of the generator. we at excel are family owned and operated and am upset about the review. the negative review should have been about your experience with cummins not us here at excel read more

Excel did excellent work on my Thor motor coach at a fair price. I will definitely be a repeat customer Melissa was very friendly and helpful. read more

3 thumbs up and tons of thanksand kudos to Zach and the crew at Excel!!! We bought an old/used RV which they spent weeks fixing for us for our cross-country trip. As we hit the road this morning, we lost acceleration and control panel digital readout and the "check engine" light came on We called and were told to come right in. 45 minutes, they had found the loose wire on a relay and we were on the road again! To quote a phrase "I love those guys!!!" read more

They said they had lots of experience installing hitches. So I went to get a simple bike rack hitch installed. I left with a broken rear breaking safety feature. They did everything in their power to deny responsibility. read more

I've been bringing my Winnebago Suncruiser class A for service to EXCEL since 2015. The crew and mechanics have always been attentive to my needs. Wether it was oil changes, or more serious issues, I could count on EXCELL to fix things right... They were always capable handling my repairs with my insurance company. Sophia (owner), has a well trained crew of mechanics on board... EXCEL pricing is competitive as well. I recently sold my Winnebago, but I have, and will continue to recommend EXCEL to my RV'ing friends... read more

I called and spoke to Melissa about getting an estimate on my RV, she said drop it off on Tuesday and we will do the estimate Wednesday and you can pick it until we are ready to work on it. I never heard back started emailing trying to get an answer as to when it will be done, she said we are backed up will get to it after thanks giving. No big deal reached after Thanksgiving and was told still no estimate. This went on and on after 2 and a half months I finally just picked it up with. No estimate. Melissa lied to me over and over. I can't speak for anyone else at the company but here customer service is unacceptable. read more

On our last day in the area my auto steps failed to work on our RV. Called Excel to see if they could take a look. We arrived at 9:30am, were seen immediately, and after properly diagnosing the issue, were on our way within an hour! Courteous, helpful, and friendly! Highly recommend! read more

I brought my class C Mercedes Sprinter motorhome in for a simple preventative maintenance ("A" service as called for in the Mercedes service manual). All I received was an oil change and lube, there should have been a fuel filter change too. The main problem was they overfilled it by 2 quarts, and 2 days afterwards I was on a road trip to the Keys and all the oil warning lights and buzzers went off. Per Mercedes manual this can severely damage the engine or catalytic converter. Naturally it was Saturday and Excel was closed and I had to make an emergency trip to the Mercedes dealer. The following week I took the Mercedes invoice for proof to Excel of the incident and they nonchalantly said they would look into it. I never heard back from them. read more

I cannot put into words how well Excel Fleet Service treated My Wife and I. We had a bearing literary ally catch on Fire on the rear Axle of our Travel Trailer as we were heading North to our Home in Chesapeake Va. on the Florida Turnpike. The Wheel and Tire came completely off the Axle. So, there we we were, stuck on the side of the Road with 70+ Mile an Hour Traffic flying by only feet away. Needless to say, it was Unnerving. It was Easter weekend and we having trouble finding anyone to help. Garrison Banks of Excel Fleet Services and His wife took time out of their holiday weekend and personally came to our rescue. They escorted us to Safety and Made sure we were completely comfortable. Monday Morning, Excel's wonderful staff immediately started work on our Camper trying to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. I didn't think there were Nice , Helpful people left in the world until now. They treated us like you hope to be treated in any situation, especially one as this. We are and will always be grateful for what Garrison,His Wife, Patrick and the wonderful staff at Excel Fleet Service did for us. Top Notch!!!! Thank you, God Bless. MIND BLOWN!! I didn't think businesses like this still existed. Not only were we received in a very friendly and professional manner by the lovely Melissa in the office, she understood the problem explained, and relayed it correctly to the mechanic servicing our vehicle. We discovered Excel having already been disappointed by our mobile rv repair service which (after spending a few hundred dollars on our last full vehicle checkup) left us stranded on a trip with a dead battery and a useless (supposedly repaired and serviced) generator. Not ONLY did Excel RV repair our poor generator they also fixed several other problems with our vehicle that were not previously addressed (and should have been). Our mechanic Mike is to be commended for his concise explanation, his skill in assessing and addressing our problems and his creativity in managing to save us a great deal of expense in the process! Thank you again Excel Fleet Service! Sincerely, The Bells. read more

This was perhaps the most incompetent buisness that I have ever worked with. When I brought my RV to Zach for a roof leak that I discovered, he assured me that they were very experienced in finding /fixing leaks. One month later when I finally picked up my rig, they not only overcharged me for an oil change , BUT where they supposedly changed out the seal on the window, they sloppily applied caulking in numerous places that they didn't even smooth out! They haphazardly applied/rolled some thin white "sealant" to my roof, while splattering it all over my awnings & front fully painted cap on my unit. They apparently opened my air cleaner and didn't close it back properly so that my E450 was running very poorly & surging terribly. (I discovered & reseated the cover-runs perfect). Dirty finger & hand prints all over the inside of my cab. Complete Incompetence with everything they touched. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a buisness.*****STAY FAR AWAY OR YOU DEFINITELY REGRET IT !!!!********** read more

In my opinion, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF ON RV REPAIRS here! I dropped my RV off for extended warranty work. I understood I had a $100.00 deductible and specifically marked the paperwork that I wanted a written estimate for anything that exceeded $100.00. Although I spoke to the shop twice concerning my RV, nothing was ever mentioned about money. A week later, I receive a call to come pick my RV up and that the insurance paid $350 and I owe them $995.00. I spoke with the manager Melissa and asked her why I didn't receive a call when I checked I wanted a written estimate for any work done. I also asked why she did repairs that I hadn't authorized at all without calling. She said this is how RV repairs go and that if I wanted my RV back I would have to pay the $995.00. I did end up going with the local police to pick up my RV, after a lot of negotiation I ended up paying far more than I should have for the RV. The two primary things I brought the RV there for, a short in the tail light and on board water pump were not even fixed. I was not warned and it cost me, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! read more

Horrible! Stay AWAY!! We took our 32 foot /Thor motorhome back in May and NOW 1 1/2 months later Sophia ( the owner) has requested we pick up our RV/ Accomplishing NADA/ Nothing! Melissa- mgr/ HAS NO CLUE/NO customerService skills/ No Brain/- after waiting 2 hours to locate part my husband negotiated a SET price/ received an invoice he signed and left a deposit for work to be Completed by June 10th! Wrong part was shipped (Apparently) keep in mind it took 4 weeks for them to receive a WRONG PART! Anyway, long story short I contacted the OWNER( Sophia Banks) who located the CORRECT Part in 2 BIZ DAYS ONLY NOW SHE RAISED the PRICE $2K MORE! Lol!! CRAZY! I asked if SHE would HONOR OUR PRIOR DEAL that was signed/ w Melissa...NOPE! As a BIZ owner myself if this had occurred I would TRY and Rectify the Problem NOT UP CHARGE the Customer and make the situation WORSE! Melissa should BE HELD Accountable/ as a MGR or BE FIRED!! Owner should take up charge from Melissa's paycheck since she's the person who "Researched" the REAR AXEL part and wasted 2 hours to locate the WRONG PART/ that took 1 month later to arrive!! My family has wasted ALMOST ALL SUMMER waiting FOR NOTHING!! Horrible BIZ/ if they continue lack of service like this they WILL BE OUT OF BIZ SOON!! read more
