Date of visit: December 13, 2025…read more I haven't been to a gym that wasn't in a hotel in forever, but took advantage of some time with my BFF to check out the gym near him recently and was overall pleased with the experience. Staff at the front desk were fun and the guest sign in process was easy, though not accurate. It said I would have to download their app (which I didn't want to do) but in the end I just had to completed a simple web form and my friend scanned a code and we were off to the races (well, okay, the locker room). There were a wide variety of machines to choose from and I appreciated that sanitizing stations were never more than a few steps away. The lockers are bare-bones and require a lock (guess the built in locks are for fancier gyms), though most of them are really quite small and would be difficult to stuff a duffel bag AND a winter coat inside, what do they think this is, California? I also didn't love the guy using the speakerphone feature of his cell the entire time he was changing and dropping a deuce, would have appreciated staff coming to ask him not to do that, but overall everyone I encountered was nice and the signs of "no judgments" and general support were great to see!

Wow! For a packed house, this gym did not disappoint! Yes, the gym was full of exercise enthusiasts…read moreof all ages; regardless, not one machine was out of service or looked like it needed a good cleaning. From an out-of-town black card member, I was in and out in an hour's time without any problems making my trip back home a breeze! Planet Fitness gyms have not disappointed this workout fanatic!, as I have yet to be at one that is poorly kept. Great workout, great staff, great experience; it's no wonder why there are several locations to choose from!

I have had two beginner yoga sessions here so far and both have been amazing. Katherine & Jori are…read moreskilled yogis that make you feel welcomed regardless of your background. They have sweet souls that make you feel very comfortable in the class. I'm looking forward to the rest of my yoga journey with this location. You definitely have to sign up! The membership is a great deal. Just stop buying all of that junk/fast food and it's paid for! It feels good to support local businesses.

I have found my home studio! Right in Woodstock Square and down the street from the train station…read more Perfect location, but it is easy to miss since it's located on the second floor (scan the second floor windows and you'll figure out exactly where it is). Today I decided to pop in for a live class and did a little perusing online. Classes are typically $18, but first timers can get a $5 class if you select that option. The class I attended was an all-level Vinyasa taught by Jon and would've been worth the $18 so it's without a doubt worth $5. The space has a clean clutter feel to it. There's little decorations and salt lamps and it smells like incense. The skylight and the huge window let in so much light that it feels like you're practicing outside. The open window adds to that feel when you feel a light and welcome breeze. Size is the only setback... it's a somewhat narrow studio which makes a class feel pretty tight with about 10-12 people. This is possibly more personal preference because I love being in larger classes because I'm able to lose myself (or focus... I'm not sure which) a little more fully and this space is more ideal for small classes so you have room to spread out. Overall though, I will be back and I'll adjust to the smaller size... I may even come to love it. There are many different instructors and classes though out the week so experiencing different flows and styles is possible here. And the proximity to so many food options makes it the perfect spot to start my day before breakfast.
