Great gym overall, good variety in class options and personal trainer/coach support to work towards whatever your goal may be. I have been going to shred classes with CJ for almost 3 months now and I can't say enough about CJ our trainer. Every day he is ready to go with an upbeat attitude. He watches all of us and makes sure our form is correct for effective results and to prevent injury. He changes the workout constantly so we workout all of our muscles. eVOLV Strong is more than just a gym. It is a community of committed people of all ages, that are dedicated to meet their goals. They're Baaaaaack!!! When eVolv shut down, I felt lost as if my whole family had just disappeared off the face of the planet. I am overtly happy that they have fought so hard to bring the gym back. I first walked in here (old location) 3 years ago curious as to what eVolv was. I thought the logo looked cool so I decided to go in to see what it was. I was immediately impressed by how good I was treated even though I didn't expect for it to be a gym. I was offered a personal tour of all three rooms (boxing, yoga, and cardio). I was not in the best shape and was afraid of being judged but I had a lot more confidence in myself after being welcomed by such a friendly staff. I signed up and that's where it all began. The classes are challenging but you'll be surprised how far you push yourself. There are many members at different fitness levels, who are nonjudgmental that make you feel at home. The instructors are encouraging and make every class fun. You have so many different formats to choose from: yoga, cardio, weight lifting, and boxing/kickboxing. One of the best parts is that they have classes running throughout the day so you'll always find room to squeeze in a workout. They also have childcare for all the parents out there who need to drop off their kiddos while they burn some calories. I went here on a class pass pre-COVID on February 27th and the class I took was really great. Then I got a missed call from the gym and a voicemail asking me to call back as they had some questions about the class. I thought maybe I was being charged erroneously or something-- but no EVOLV has a pretty aggressive and in my opinion annoying marketing angle. Then came the emails. Countless. So many. I unsubscribed. Or so I thought. And they kept coming. I think I finally got most of them to go to my spam inbox. Just now I was on my cellphone and looked at my voicemail inbox-- in my blocked folder-- yup, EVOLV still calling me with promotions almost 8 months after I took ONE single class with a class pass credit. Two voicemails from them left in the last week. Seriously. The class was good + people seem to really rep this community but this is just unnecessary. I haven't written a review in a while but I'm kinda shocked that somehow this is seen as a good business practice? I would've come back ordinarily most likely in a non-COVID world but being inundated with calls, voicemails, and emails makes me kind of "eww you're weird" about the gym now. read more

I really enjoy Evolv. I have been coming here now a little while and it is really great. They offer a lot of classes, with a lot of variety. They have many HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) type classes, as well as yoga classes and everything in between. They also offer child care during many of the classes. I don't have kids, but I think this is amazing for parents! Right now I am focusing on the yoga classes after a wrist surgery. The instructors are very helpful and supportive. I also like that the hot room always feels clean. I have been to many studios around town and it isn't always the case :) I will tell those interested in inversion yoga, they do have a tile floor, so I don't know if they incorporate many inversions in the classes. Also the room isn't at a super high humidity. For me it is perfect, but I know many "yogis" who prefer more humidity. All in all, I love this place not only for its variety, but also it is an awesome community to be a part of. read more

I love this place. This is a relatively new gym, with a concept that I'm in love with: super effective training! What that generally looks like is a class that has you doing different moves every single minute. This is a win-win: you're maximizing every second of time, and you're not getting bored. First, the gym is divided into three separate areas, each of which holds multiple classes throughout the day. There is a warm studio that is kept at 113 degrees and 40% humidity; in this area you can practice barre, yoga, pilates, and HIIT training. In the Brawl room, you can train with kettlebells, boxing bags, and Olympic rings. In the dance studio, you can take step, bodypump, and, of course, dance classes. Each class has its own unique name, which doesn't always convey its essence, but you get used to this after awhile. In addition to the great training one receives here, the environment is always positive and friendly. Evolv started out strong 2 years ago when they re-opened. Now the customer service has declined. You don't know who will give classes because they switch on you last minute and don't update their online schedule. This is because their priority is some football team they are coaching on the side - putting the gym clients as second priority. Also, there is no cooling and you're working out in 85 to 90 degree rooms where the trainers end up not being able to push you hard so you don't have a heat stroke. They're drop in is the most expensive for any gym i've been to ($13) and their price is $80 which is $10 less than Sport and Wellness whom offers high class gym services. read more
