I also got to watch her kite on her time off, and this woman has got some serious skills! I highly recommend learning with her. I thought the lesson prices were reasonable and I appreciated the kites they had to offer for rent/lessons. I did not like their "headset" system that their teachers use to communicate with students. It's literally a walkie talkie in a waterproof bag taped to your helmet. It made communication really difficult and I did not feel safe during my first session, as Ella was so far away and I had no way to ask questions or clarify the feedback she tried to give through the walkie (if a wave came and I was underwater, I had no way to ask her to repeat herself). I greatly appreciate the flexibility the school demonstrated. They were very accomodating to my needs. I originally planned a two hour lesson, but felt so exhausted after the first hour that I wanted to do the second hour the following day. They allowed this, and WOW, the second day was so much better! I needed the rest in order to come back feeling physically capable and mentally confident. We chose to get rid of the "headset" for this portion of the lesson and opted for Ella to come check in with me frequently. She would ride over, sit in the water, and provide feedback. This was so much more helpful and I felt much safer.

We had a large group of us that were coming down, and arranged for lessons for all of us. Super accommodating , and we were able to try and get in as many lessons as we could on the two bad days when the wind was just good enough (about 2.5 hours). On the third day the wind was finally strong towards noon and I was able to get in another 2 hours of lessons. Sadly I had to leave the next day so I couldn't complete the full plan of lessons, which is the reason I don't feel comfortable leaving a 5 star review. Settled for everything at the end of my day (only the hours that I received instruction), including my tab at the bar. Had the choice settling in pesos or dollars. Don't really know what the rates for competitors were, but if and when I'm ever back in La Ventana I'll be coming here for sure. Shoutout Luca and Fabio

Unforgettable day trip up to Mag Bay with explore Baja to meet the whales. Highly recommend this…read moretrip, even though it is a long day. We were picked up at our airbnb in TS but our driver Chebo at 5am. He is the nicest person ever, and even returned to our house once we realized we had left our 6-year-old's prescription glasses behind in our rush to be ready so early. The van was spacious and comfortable, and after a quick stop to pick up the rest of our group, we were on our way. Frist stop was in La Paz to pick up our guide, Mariel. She is a wealth of knowledge and her love for all things aquatic is infectious. After leaving La Paz, we drove for about another hour before stopping for breakfast (included in the tour price), coffee (THANK GOODNESS), and a bathroom break. After scarfing down our breakfast burritos, we were back on the road to Mag Bay. It was around 4 hours all in, including La Paz traffic. Here we parked outside the preserve and walked to get our lifejackets and find our captain. NOTE: We brought a life jacket for our daughter because we weren't sure if they would have kid-sized life jacket and , reader, they did. They have everything. Save the space in your suitcase! Once we were all suited up we got on our boat with our captain, Kiko. We headed out of the mangroves into the bay and there we met the whales. We were in 3 or 4 locations, each time Kiko maneuvering us to the exact spot where the whales were waiting to greet us. There is nothing in the world like meeting and touching these majestic, gentle giants. This was my second time meeting the whales (first time was in Guerro Negro), but my daughter's first time. Safe to say it is a day that none of us will ever forget. After a few hours out on the water, we stopped for lunch (also included) before stating the drive home, where we were dropped back at our airbnb. I highly recommend explore Baja for a day trip to see the whales. And extra special thank you to Mariel, Kiko, and Chebo, each one of you made our day unforgettable.

My boyfriend dreamed to swim with the whale sharks for years. So when our air BNB lady recommended…read moreus this company to schedule a tour, we did exactly that and seal the deal by putting down 50% deposit at the shop. The day of the adventure: The van came to our air BNB at 6am (sharp!) to pick us up, and there we went! We boarded our boat at the harbor, then we joined a bunch of other tour boats on the quest of finding whale sharks! After a short boat ride, the guide spotted some and commended us to join him in the water! It was intimidating at first, but soon the excitement over-ruled the fear and we found ourselves swimming among the whale sharks! The water was warm and the visibility was great. We got to see those giants feeding on shrimps and admired them swimming so gracefully up closed! After that, we were taken to a sea-lion rock to swim with fishes, corals and sea lions. It was pretty awesome to see all creatures up close, and I didn't realized they sleep in the water with their fins up! I got too closed to the sea lions and I accidentally swallowed tiny amount of sea water when I was panically swimming away. All I could think of was: "oh damn, I just drank their poo and pee and who knows what else!". Rest assured thoI was perfectly fine after that! After all the actions, we were taken to this beautiful beach that has sugary fine white sand. Our tour guides quickly set up shades and lunch, and we got to enjoy the food, relax at the beach and played some more in the water. Now looking back, I really appreciate the friendly tour guides and their tour planning. Our van/boat/activities were on time and on schedule. There wasn't much of waiting around, but yet we didn't feel pressured. Overall, I'd recommend Baja Adventure to ppl who wants to explore the part of Baja which is harder to access!

Hello, So I was heading to Cabo for the first time and I…read morewanted to make sure I booked a dive. I did tons of research and came across a few and narrowed it down to a big company that did dive, zip line, camel rides, etc. but I wanted to dive and not be one of 20 people. They other company I came across was Tours Cabo. Review, after review for Arturo was excellent. I will admit I was skeptical. But figured 80 people couldn't be wrong. So I booked it. And Arturo replied almost immediately. His replies were so laid back and informal I thought this guy can't be legit. But no matter if wrote him at 1 pm or 10 pm he always replied back and most ended with no worries, no problem. Plans changed slightly due to me diving alone and Arturo made sure it worked for me. My dive was for Cabo Pulmo which is about 1 hour north from San Jose del Cabo. It is an amazing place that is preserved and doesn't allow fishing so the amount of fish is incredible. Arturo pretty much lives there. He knows everyone there. The people there are genuine, real and so welcoming. He had Julio pick me up from my hotel and during the hour drive he explained so much about Baja and the wildlife, it was like a guided tour. Julio is awesome! So we get there and my suit is too thin for the water temp. Again no worries, no problem. Arturo hooked me up with a full suit. It had been a while since I had been out so Arturo did a quick refresher dive in open water along a reef with good amount of fish. I got right back into it after a couple of minutes and enjoyed the dive. For the second dive he didn't hesitate and we were off and he took me right into a HUGE school of Jacks. I have tons of photos that I will upload soon. I couldn't keep up with where to point the GoPro. It was the best dive I have ever had. And Arturo was into it just as I was. It was diving with a friend. He and I both sat back and took it all in. After the dive we went to lunch and if I didn't have to get back to San Jose I think we would have stayed at the restaurant chatting and drinking Topo Chico all day. Listen if you want quality over being among quantity I would recommend Tours Cabo and Arturo with no hesitation. I will be back to San Jose del Cabo and I will book it with Arturo. If you have any questions please reach out I would gladly reply. One last thing I forgot my fins and live in Texas and reached out to Arturo the day after the dive and he personally drove the fins out to my Hotel before my flight! Amazing place, amazing dive, amazing experience and amazing people to dive with. Juan

I am a first-time efoiler but an experienced wakesurfer and was excited to learn. The price and…read moreshort duration of 1 hour were attractive to me and much better than the US. I asked if they had helmets when I booked and they said yes, but I assumed they had full-length wetsuits. Wrong assumption. They do not. I recommend you wear a full wetsuit if you have one or can find one or a long-sleeve rasher and anything to cover your knees. They do give you a good life jacket. Remember to sunscreen your back shoulders if you do not have a rasher or sun shirt. I now have a visible vest tan. You will be learning in the comically crowded port of Cabo San Lucas. When I went in, there might have been 30 moving vessels in the water and 50 parked vessels. It was the busiest water I have ever seen, and I boat 10 times a year. Next thing is watch out for wind and choppy water. It makes learning much harder. Try to time with the least wind possible. Next is try to avoid the arrival of the cruise ships as they put dozens of boats in the water ferrying 3000 people off the ship. I am right-handed and I surf goofy, but next time I go I will switch the strap and use my left hand for the remote so I can use my strong hand to hold the board and get up on my right leg. You should watch videos on how to efoil, which I did, but none of them went into detail about how much you have to pay attention to the remote trigger and how smoothly you have to accelerate and hold power. The amount of training they give on-shore is only 7 minutes. The instructor goes out with you on another board and his advice and direction are critical, particularly managing the trigger. He said focus on the trigger as he could tell that's where I was failing. The trigger will not work at all if the nose of the board is not 10 inches above the water. So you start on your stomach, build steady speed, go to knees, go to front leg, and then stand on both. Then you will fall in because you will add too much power or back off the trigger and cause it to cut power. Then you will repeat this over and over and in the process, your forearms, stomach, and knees will be rashed raw and start to burn in the seawater. I was close to bleeding. Very unpleasant. So unpleasant that after 30 minutes, I did not want to attempt anymore and was ready to go back to shore and try again another day with a wetsuit and in freshwater. An experienced ocean surfer came back with one raw and one cut knee, so it was not only my lack of surfing experience. 1 hour will be the max most people can do. Advice to you and the business, ask them to bring the board 150M down the beach where there are fewer vessels and people, so you can save the time and energy navigating out of the traffic. The people are very nice and helpful and the price is a good value for this new sport.
