It was obvious when we were taking the pictures that she knew exactly what light and direction worked best and she was quick because we were working with a tired 3 and 5 year old. I like that she offers digital download because some still offer prints only. Definitely recommend x100!!

it is difficult for me to offer even one star for this service. My family was recently blessed to…read morehave five generations. Due to the fact that I have mobility issues, four of my family members took time from work and traveled thousands of miles so we could capture five generation photos. I hired Black Pineapple Photography to capture the photos. We were to receive our digital photos approximately two to three weeks after the shoot. What I received two weeks later was an email from Liz, proprietor of Black Pineapple Photography. The email stated that my money had been refunded and the photos from our family shoot were permanently lost. WHAT? LOST? An email, not even the courtesy of a phone call or any explanation as to what had occurred. You can imagine the disappointment my family members and I experienced. Two days after the receipt of the email and after my granddaughter called Liz and complained I received a phone call with an explanation. Apparently the photographer, who took the pictures, did not change the SIM card following our shoot and shot another event over our session. Beware, as that photographer still is used by this company. There is no way to recover the photos. This error, the lost employment time, air fare, lodging and car rental expenses were great. Needless to say we cannot capture this time again or recoupe the expenses. "Beware of Black Pineapple Photography".

She left it to the owner of the company Elizabeth to have to handle her negligence. I am giving 2 stars ONLY because I do believe Elizabeth was profoundly apologetic and did attempt to recover the photos. Unfortunately a company is only as good as the employees you have working for you and having Claudia there is not it. Beware if you actually want your photos after they are taken.

We are so happy that we had them do the photography and videography for our wedding! They keep the mood light while at the same time keeping the work professional. We The Blackwells were so easy to work with and the pictures turned out better than we could have hoped. We sent them inspo pics ahead of time for the aesthetic we were going for and they knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend reaching out to We The Blackwells for your photography and videography needs!

We had We The Blackwells photograph our August wedding and we have nothing but great things to say…read moreabout the entire process. Like any couple planning their big day, we were very anxious about our photos and photographer being perfect. To say they stepped up to the plate is an understatement. From our consultation call to receiving our photos, the entire team was so professional, personable, and kind. On our wedding day, we got a thunderstorm and a crash on the interstate delaying our start time. What could have derailed the day, our photographers took and made it work out even better than we'd planned. They helped the DJ and us move our timeline around and got our photos in the perfect sunset lighting to keep our older family members out of the peak heat. We also forgot to cut our cake (we had a small cake for just us and our guests had sheet cake) and even though we were fine to go without those photos, they still made sure to get our wedding rings and take a photo of them with the slice of cake. It was a small thing for them to think of getting a shot of, but that attention to detail and putting themselves in our shoes is what makes We The Blackwells so valuable. Our guests had nothing but kind things to say about their interactions, and our entire bridal party absolutely loved them! Having all the people we love in one space is so rare, so for them to all be so happy and comfortable in every photo means the world to us. When we got our entire gallery back, we were blown away. Not only did they perfectly capture our relationship and the biggest day of our lives, but they got all the candid moments between. Thank you Crist, Hannah, and Mari! If you're looking for a photographer with compassion, humor, and a true eye for the perfect shot, we could not recommend We The Blackwells more!
