The shop is amazing and I'm so glad I gave this location a second chance. Back in 2020 I had just moved to the area and I was looking to establish a relationship with a good local gunsmith. I live less than 3 miles from this location. The gentleman that was there introduced himself as the owner, but not until I spent approximately 15 minutes inside waiting for him to acknowledge that I was even there. His first words to me he boastfully stated how much money he was making at the onset of Covid and that his inventory was just flying off the shelf on a weekly basis. He went on to say that he was conducting some banking business online and how great everything was for him. He never apologized for keeping me waiting or asked if he could help me with anything. And I was the only one in the store at that time. When I asked him if he could do some work on my weapons, he declined my business because he had too much work already. The last thing he said to me was that if I didn't get there prior to Wednesday every week that I wouldn't find a gun to purchase. Kind of hard to believe when he still had a moderate amount of inventory left. Needless to say this guy lost my business permanently. Unfortunately for him I have spent in the last five years, $10-$15,000 on gun related equipment. It was only because of my son-in-law who made a recent online purchase that I have returned to this place. He had a great experience and was informed by the current owners that the store had changed hands. Initially, he was not aware of my bad experience back in 2020. Matt, who was working at the time, was extremely helpful with all of the questions I had without sounding like he wanted to sell me everything on the back wall. I noticed that they had some bows on the counter that looked like they were having work done and found out that was also a service they offered, so I ended up dropping my bow off the next day to have some work done and some arrows built for a hunting trip. I believe the guys I spoke with were the owners of the shop, and I can't say enough good things about the way they treated me while I was there. I plan on coming here for everything gun/bow/outdoors in the future.
