We first met evevo at an internet trade show in 2012. Having not really used internet marketing before for our company, we needed to find a way to tap into a huge market we were missing out on. After several initial meetings with Ian at evevo, they came up with a strategy to increase our website traffic using SEO.
The investment was quite substantial for us, but evevo offered to get us to Page 1, or work for free if they didn't. Usually we would have ignored such a statement, but looking at their background as a company everything seemed legitimate. We gave them 10 keywords to work on, with the brief of hitting Page in 4 months.
The first thing they did was analyse our site and make a few minor content changes. They then had a copyrighters put together a press release which we had to authorise before going live. This was then distributed online and as a direct result you could see a lot of content on search engines if you typed our brand name.
After this point they then began the real work of targeted SEO, where they apparently created lots of backlinks on other website related to our industry. To us all that mattered was results but we were slightly wary of where these links were being put. After looking over a few sites, everything seemed great so they continued work.
By month 3 we hit the first page for 8/10 keywords, most of which in the top 5. We were given a link which showed us live positions of our keywords which was great for marketing meetings, and to monitor progress.
So by month 4 we were on Page 1 for all keywords and to be honest we were quite surprised with the results. Daily traffic went from 50 up to around 230 unique's per day. So all in all it was a great investment for us and would have no problem recommending evevo to anyone. read more
