Thankfully, Cannon Park Dental saved the day and had immediate availability to fix my filling. The office itself is very clean and has all of the latest equipment. Beth, the Dental Assistant, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. Dr. Myers also has great bedside manner and fixed the filling in record time. As someone who has had fillings done in six different states, it is incredibly rare to have a painless and enjoyable experience at the dentist. We finally decided to look for a new dentist and I found Dr. Miller and his office online and then got a mailer from them the next day. So we called and made appointments for the next week, expecting the worst. We were extremely surprised. The office is very nice and the people, including Dr. Miller, are even nicer. There was no lecture, they laid things out for us and prioritized what we needed to do, and the communication is great. My hygienist, Alexis, is fantastic. I had a lot of deep cleaning done and didn't feel a thing and she let me know what she was doing and why the whole time. We got written quotes on the work we needed and were told to just let them know when we wanted to proceed. That was refreshing. Their technology and equipment are state-of-the-art which makes things very comfortable and easy. The dental hygienist falsified my records and claimed I had an extensive in-depth cleaning that cost over $200.00. I paid $136.00 out of pocket for a treatment I did not want nor receive. When I called the office to request a refund, the office clerk argued with me, telling me I had an in-depth cleaning, that my x-rays showed blah blah, and that she is unwilling to remedy this situation. As a grown educated woman, I do know the difference between a routine cleaning and an in-depth procedure. Being patronized only irritates me more. I have been going to this practice since the time years and years ago when Dr. "Pete" Crotts was the dentist, before he retired and sold the practice to Ryan Fleming. Lots of activity at times here, but thankfully I was only in for the usual cleaning. But, sigh, they convinced me (after multiple times of talking to me) to go ahead and get a crown in the right side as it has a large filling from my early years and, yes, the size and the fracture line in it necessitates having the work done. He has done one other crown and for a guy like me that detests needles (and thus dental work), it was about as painless as you could ever dream that it should be.
