She and Ron are kind, generous, hilarious, talented, honest and professional in every way. On top of that, they are good people--- in a town (and industry) where good people are few and far between. Our taco man arrived ahead of schedule, was very nice, worked efficiently, and the presentation looked great. He also gave me clear instructions about when he would call for the final round and reminded me to have containers ready for leftovers, which we did. I appreciated how organized and professional that part of the experience was. Unfortunately, there were a couple things this time that really didn't sit well with me. As the host of a party, I'm constantly moving around and making sure everything is running smoothly. As he was getting ready to leave, he asked me about a tip. I had every intention of tipping, but being asked directly felt uncomfortable and a little awkward. Then asked about the final payment. I told him I would send the payment through Zelle, he left--but came back shortly after to ask if I had sent it yet. I was still in the middle of hosting and hadn't had a chance to do it. It put me in an uncomfortable position, and my guests even started noticing and wondering what was going on. He apologized several times and explained it was the owner's policy, and I understand he may have been following instructions, but I ended up having to stop what I was doing during the party to send payment immediately. Afterward I checked the invoice and saw final payment was due the day of the event, which I completely understand. I just would have much preferred payment to be collected upfront upon arrival rather than being stopped during hosting while trying to manage guests. The food this time was also just okay--not as great as our first experience. I appreciate Alba's communication and the taco man effort, but unfortunately this experience felt very different from the first, and I won't be using Yummy Tacos again.
