Then because my daughter had a temp of 100.1 the provider said we were not allowed to wait inside. Was told she would need a Covid test and flu test before being seen.. Covid test was supposedly positive so we were then turned away. Did 2 Covid tests at home and both were negative! Went to ER and my daughter had a ruptured ear drum! Thank god for ERs because urgent cares in this town are horrible! To top it off another pt got a $300 bill because they did not tell her that her insurance was out of network! Horrible service! First and last time I'll be going here. Also nothing online about insurance, so I'll post a picture of what they had taped on the front desk!

He is clearly the kind of doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and is out there helping and saving lives. I am incredibly grateful for the care he gave me today. I also want to recognize the beautiful triage nurse who works with Dr. Beaver. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name, but she was wonderful and deserves recognition as well. And Maddie, the young woman who performed my echocardiogram, was fantastic. She was professional, compassionate, and made what could have been a stressful experience much easier. Every one of these people made a difference for me today, and I truly cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend Mercy Medical Center. They took excellent care of me when I needed it most, and I am extremely grateful. As for Northwest Regional Hospital, or whatever that nightmare is called, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else if you have a choice.

When I asked if I could get a pillow for my wife and I, I was literally told to go look for it myself. None of the staff takes any initiative and the only way we have made progress through our visit is by us asking the staff to do things. For example we were told that we needed to wait for an ultrasound review. After waiting for 2.5 hours, we asked if they knew anything and they were like... oh yeah we've known for a bit, everything looks fine. Seriously? You didn't think it would be important to tell us that? It's the only emergency room around, but that's no excuse for the absolutely horrendous service/care we've received. There was one male nurse who was very helpful, but he's the only positive part of this experience.

This clinic effectively refused to see a burn victim because he was from out of town…read more My friend sustained a bad burn at a gas station checking his engine. We drove to three different urgent cares (all closed) before calling Hilltop and making sure they were open. They told us to fill out an online form and that a nurse could help him triage from the car (because we were from out of town they didn't want us to enter). However, when we arrived, they changed their tune, saying they "may not" be able to see him and that they would have to decide. After begging a rude receptionist over the phone who ignored my friend's pain and made his urgent need for help about her ("I'm sorry sir I do t know who you spoke to before but you don't need to take it out on me!") Someone came out and told us to take pictures of the burn and email them, and they *may* be able to see him in 2 hours. Keep in mind he has a bad burn and is in need of immediate treatment. We decided to leave and seek help at a pharmacy instead. Who knew you could get better help for free from the staff at CVS inside Target than the people at a an urgent care clinic... The website says the 5 physicians started this clinic to help patients with minor emergencies. Looks like they strayed from the path. We were treated like second class citizens here. If your care needs are urgent, I urge you to reconsider seeking help from Hilltop.

Have gone without my RX multiple times due to front office staff not following through with requests, not submitting PA's, and when I try to explain the importance of my RX and aide effects of not being on it, they just say, "Sorry, you'll just have to wait." I ask to speak with my Dr and im told no. My insurance and pharmacy want to help but can't because of the Dr office neglect. They know they can act however they want because there is no accountability and you can't leave because there no Dr's in the area.

The Walgreens pharmacy begs to differ as they told me when I went to pick them up on the afternoon of the 10th that only one had been filled on the 8th my other two had been received that day. I had submitted my request on December 28th so it took them until the 8th to refill basic health maintaining medications, no pain meds or other controlled meds. So the reason I am giving them four stars is Doctor Lynn. Today was my first visit with this new doctor and he was great. I found him to be knowledgeable and respectful. He actually treated me as a human being. He listened to my concerns, asked questions pertaining to my specific ailments and offered solutions for treatment. I did not feel I was being lumped in with patients that have substance abuse issues. I hope he is an example of new hiring practices and that Shasta Community Health Center, Placer street branch will continue to hire people who can separate their personal religious, political and social beliefs from their care of patients. Also when I checked out this time a nice, polite young man was there to help me who obviously enjoyed his job. Not like the afore mentioned grumpy butt that used to be there.

I have never had a provider I trust as I do Lisa Monroe. Dr Sullivan is Professional, intelligent and through and a incredible asset to the practice and has been my families primary care provider for over five years. Women's healthcare options in the Redding area are already limited. I hope Amber eventually adopts policies that allow them to serve a broader cross-section of women in our community.
