To clarify my earlier review, he's a nice guy, but he mis-bills and over-charges on every visit. Annual Physical (which should have been covered by insurance) lasted under 5 minutes, but he asks me how I am, I say "fine" and then he charges me for an office consult... happens every visit. Impossible to reach him to discuss bill. His nurse forwards me to billing, who forward me to coding dept, who forward me back to doctor (who won't return calls.) One time I actually was hurt and needed to see him, I couldn't get an appointment for two weeks. I've since switched to Direct Primary care. It costs a bit more, but I can see a doctor when I need to, spend as much time with the doctor as I need, and they won't create inflated insurance claims and co-pays. read more

I cannot thank her enough for literally restoring my quality of life through the gift of clear vision. A cataract in one eye essentially rendered that eye mostly useless. After Dr. Boone performed surgery to remove the cataract and insert an intraocular lens, I tested 20/20 in that eye the next day. He's fun and really good with kids of any age, smart, and patient when explaining things to us as parents. He also takes our own opinions into consideration when making a health plan for the kids, which hasn't been common in our experience. We've been going to him for almost 2 years now and the front office staff can be hit or miss sometimes, but the care we get from Dr Davis and his team is the best around. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician!

I told Dr…read more Cevene himself what my insurance would and would not cover, he was quick to brush off what I said and make everything seem doable. I was presented with a contract of sorts that mapped out what all he was suggesting I do through them. I agreed on this contact a total maximum amount I would pay out of pocket, I kept records of my payments made from my debit card. Applied payments to each appointment, I also had to keep track of appointments not to exceed the amount I was liable for. They kept making appointments past the date I would meet my maximum. I think this was done to make it to where I would be liable for more then I agreed to pay. Well like I told them my insurance did not cover injections to my knees, all through this process I made them aware that my insurance does not cover the injections, they kept saying it would all work out. After all my appointments, physicial therapy, injections and weight loss consults. Cevene pain management kept billing my insurance for the injections, this was back in 2022 it's now 2026 and they continue to bill my insurance. This place is resentless. In my opinion they are shady and just want to milk your insurance then you for services that should not have been done. If I knew then what I know now I would not have gone through with any treatment. I now can't even get the billing department to return my calls. RUN FROM THIS FACILITY.

Torn about how to rate this place. The care I receive is good--when I can get it in a timely…read moremanner. There needs to be a sick call hour. There needs to be a women's clinic. But more than anything else, there needs to be retention within the VA employment system. There are many good providers here at the Rockford Clinic--MANY. But the turn over is also vast and as a result of that, timely care doesn't happen. (For example--I had back to back illnesses from Thanksgiving and into mid-January. I couldn't get an appointment for the most recent one for nearly 2wks out. I'm keeping it even though I feel I'm mostly recovered, because if I relapse, it'll be another two weeks! This is stupid because I am aware I'm taking an appointment I may not need in fear I may need it and can't get it--so I have to wonder how frequent this occurs and if this same mindset is what kept me from getting in when I actually needed it? I digress, I went to Prompt Care @ OSF. It did the job, but sheesh!) I'm still confused as to how this pharmacy works. If I come from an appointment, either in person or via phone/video, I can pick up at this location. I can also pick up here if Prompt Care sends it here. But there are some instances they send to Walgreens (not CVS anymore) and then other times I get it in the mail. Mail is regular, routine meds. But then also weirdly enough, prompt care had to send some meds to Walgreens as well--so I had to go to two pharmacies. The last thing you wanna do when you're sick... is anything really, but for sure managing meds and just getting them. I wish this system was a bit more streamlined and easier to navigate. Front desk and lab are always awesome! I need an app for labs, which I prefer to VA Oceanside where I had to get there at 0700 and wait in a line or risk not getting in at all. Parking is easy, and they salt the walk ways. There's an overhang for drop off service.
