    This company is owned/managed and named the same as their recently bankrupted Denver location. I…read moream surprised that the Colorado Springs store has such good ratings on Yelp since BBB only rates them C+. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!! My Denver Fireplace Warehouse experience was as follows: bought a $10,000 plus fireplace and found out that it would not fit properly in my home- this was clearly the fault of my contractor and my inexperience. I then bought a less expensive model that from them, totaling about $20,000 to Fireplace Warehouse. Sean, the salesperson I worked with, would not take the expensive one back even though I offered restock fee payments and so on. He did offer to display it in the store and try to sell it for me- a consignment type agreement that Fireplace Warehouse would reimburse me whatever a store customer might pay for it. During this time I would still own it. I posted it on Facebook Marketplace as well. After many months I had a good offer on Facebook and called Fireplace Warehouse to arrange for pick up. Sean wasn't returning my messages so I began talking to Faye in sales. She told me that my fireplace had been sold a few months back for $6000. I was uncomfortable that no one had informed me or reimbursed me. Faye claimed that she had called but I never found any record of those "calls" and surely a letter could have been sent since they had all my information due to the 20K in sales. For several weeks Faye strung me along that a check would be issued from the other store, she would call back, yada yada but nothing happened. At one point the owner, Joe Womack, indicated the check would be issued "next Friday". Then, the news changed to Fireplace Warehouse Denver went into bankruptcy and there would be no money for me. Since multiple people from both stores were lying to me for a very long time I want to warn others. I've waited over half a year to post this because I feel stupid for trusting them but I want to do the right thing by warning others!!!

Never had an issue with anything...until now. Called last week for a service appt; person said she would get back to me Monday (called Friday). After leaving messages several times, and after seven days of no reply, I once again called. Female started giving me lame excuses for not getting back to me. After her repeating that they were very busy for the 5th time, I laughed. She blew a fuse; I asked to speak to the owner; she hung up. It's unfortunate he company's face to the public is someone better suited to the fast food or waste management industry. By her behavior, I guess I am now blocked from their services; too bad, their technicians are very good. Received below response. If treating customers with respect means ignoring their requests and hanging up on them, I guess this business has a unique definition of respect. Never did I "belittle" the receptionist, as she alleged, but if that's what you wish to believe, so be it. Maturity and integrity clearly is something she has yet to discover. Having employees' backs is what a good Boss should do. But when a troubled employee is backed blindly, the cost of that loyalty will eventually catch up with that business. For those considering this business, beware.

    We contracted this company in 2024 to fix an existing fireplace at our home. Instead, they sold us…read moreon a $2,500 Duzy fireplace replacement with the promise that it would be a better, easier to operate and foul-proof option compared to the current previous system. Fast forward almost two winters later and they've had to come out 5-6x since purchase to fix the fireplace they installed. And, every time they visit, it breaks a month later during periods of use. Today, the fireplace is unusable and after several frustrating exchanges with the manager -- they refuse to work on the fireplace citing "legal" changes that prevent them from doing so. Instead, we need to upgrade our fireplace to an $8k option or hire a company from the front-range to fix their installation. Here is an exact copy of the email received from the owner after several attempts at troubleshooting their installation: "So I would agree that you have ruled out battery issues if they are fresh in everything (receivers and remotes). It could still be a valve issue if that worked and then stopped. We will still not come work on it ever again after the last time we "rewired" it, as the new policies and laws prevent us doing so any line. You and I had agreed that that last trip for that wiring part would be the final time we touched your logset. Eventually you will have to look at an upgrade to seal gas unit, but in the meantime you could pay someone else to work out if for you, it just can no longer be WFS." This is after several previous attempts at refusing to work on the logset and placing the blame on us not their installation. So, while I appreciate the efforts of the service team that came out to fix our fireplace, I simply cannot recommend this company to anyone given that they will upsell you, blame you, and then refuse to stand by their product and installation.
