A buff and shine means there is no nail polish involved whatsoever and solely your natural nails cleaned up. Fellas- please get your feet and hands in control, your partner will thank you lol. I love getting a pedi here because Theresa and her team use various lotions, bath salts/scrubs, and a few other things to get your feet up to par and acceptable to be seen in public. I usually drive down St Charles street on my way home from work and noticed this salon a few times. When the opportunity arose for me to check it out through a yelp offer, I just had to go. Who doesn't love to be pampered? The offer was only available to be used during working hours on a Monday and Tuesday. The offer was for "the boss" manicure. I shuffled a few things around and managed to book an 11am slot. Street parking is available for a fee of course. I arrived promptly at 11am and was immediately greeted by Theresa. I later learned that she is the owner of this new salon. I was seated in the waiting area while choosing my color for the manicure. OMG, there was just too many colors to choose from. She did pick out the new OPI collection and I opted for a light blue/turquoise color. She gave me an introduction about the services they offer and gave me a tour of the salon. It is bigger than I expected. It has a dedicated area for manicures, pedicures, a hair salon and wash basins and a room for facial waxing. A one stop shop really. I was the only customer there which was great for me :). Mondays and Tuesdays are said to be their quiet times with busier times being Wednesday through Saturday. I loved the decor selected and most of all the gold fixtures! Everything is in immaculate condition. Clean and welcoming. I was seated at the manicure station and Theresa started the boss manicure with the shaping, softening and cuticle cutting. She walked me through every step explaining what she was doing. I mentioned that my hands were like snake skin and that a manicure was way past due! She then softened my hands in milk and honey water .....She introduced the hand scrub and lotion she would be using by explaining its benefits and allowing me to smell the fragrance. After exfoliating my hands and arms ( I almost fell asleep it was so relaxing) she showed me to a rinse basin where I rinsed the exfoliate residue off my hands and arms. She then massaged the lotion thoroughly into my skin leaving my hands 10 years younger :) She applied the polish and let me sit at the drying station for about 7 minutes. I love that they have a drying station because i always mess up my nails the minute i leave the salon. She checked on me after about 7 minutes and my nails were dry. while I was sitting at the drying salon she assisted a walk in customer. It was nice to see that you can just decide to do a pamper session at a moments notice and be helped so quickly. I left a tip and promised to be back again.... Nothing but a superb experience. Atmosphere: well appointed white, gold, and navy colors with fabulous fixtures in a very clean environment. Piano rendition lightly playing of Willy Wonka's "Pure Imagination" made me feel like I was in a dream. Excellent manicure. I am moving away from gel and dip for the health of my nails and "The Boss" was just what the doctor ordered (see photo). Day 2 and no chips. I will return. I loved my experience here. I was welcomed in warmly and given a tour of the place. It is clean and feels open inside.its really nice inside. The waiting area had comfy seats and was by the large front window. I was offered water, wine or Soda. I got the boss manicure with just polish. I liked the variety of colors and found one I loved from the Mexico OPI collection. The boss manicure came with a hand massage, scrub, and lotion. The hand massage, scrub, and lotion were amazing. My skin is so soft!! I felt very pampered. The drying station face the big window so you can window watch, a small but nice touch. The whole experience took about an hour. This salon is the best in New Orleans and is just outside the quarter in the lower garden district. Moving from CA last year I had tried many salons out here but none of them were like CA. I am so so happy! I got my nails done over Christmas at a nail bar who did a less than subpar job and left me feeling crappy about my nails. Scheduled an appointment for a Monday but had to call and cancel do to a mental health emergency. The girl who picked up was so sweet and understanding and helped me schedule an appointment for today at the same time with little fuss. Eversaint salon is a new establishment and offers nail service, haircut/styling, and waxing. I came here and received the 'boss manicure.' There's ample street parking, paid metered, and no metered on the side and the back of the street. The salon is very spacious with an open floor plan arrangement. You can see majority of the salon from the seating area. Theresa is the owner and extremely attentive to great service and quality. The manicure I received included polish and exfoliate scrub/ hand massage. Theresa was the one who gave me the manicure and her polish colors were all up to date, as she had the latest OPI seasonal colors on hand already. She was very meticulous and easy to converse with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My manicure from a week ago is still intact! And believe me, I do a lot of hand washing with a toddler, and my nails haven't even chipped yet. I know it's not the best time to be out and about with COVID-19 on the news everywhere you turn. Rest assured, Theresa keeps her salon extremely clean and hygienic. My cousin and I had the most amazing experience at Eversaint! We came in for pedicures on a Friday afternoon and were seated immediately. The salon is absolutely beautiful, bright, clean - and the staff were extremely cautious about COVID precautions, which always helps to set my mind at ease. We had our temps taken, were offered hand sanitizer, and all staff kept their masks securely in place at all times. The owner, Theresa, and another technician (I thought I wrote down her name but can't find it - a really pretty, unique name, similar to Nishi I believe) took care of our pedis - We selected the deluxe pedicure that includes hot stone massage. It was so relaxing and felt like such a luxurious experience. We were also offered a selection of beverages while we had our pedis. Our feet came out amazing and while we waited to dry had a chance to chat with the owner Theresa. She was so kind and charming and asked us about our plans for the day, gave restaurant recommendations, and was just overall the sweetest person ever. I managed to call and schedule appointments for first thing in the morning on Thursday. We first walked in everything was clean and not clutter. It was so simple yet so chic. Love this spot! I came in on a Tuesday late morning for a manicure. The atmosphere, offerings, and quality were all on point. Let's start with atmosphere. The location on Saint Charles is great! There is plenty of free parking around the corner, and it is very walkable from quite a few restaurants, bars, and hotels. The streetcar also passes right out front. I walked in and was instantly greeted. They are so friendly here, you feel welcome the moment that you walk in the door. The waiting area is spacious with comfortable couches, but I didn't spend much time there because I didn't even have to wait! The space is very clean and well maintained. The chairs are all comfortable while you get your manicure, and the pedicure baths were the nicest I have seen. Now, how about what you can get here. I didn't even realize that they also do hair! There is a beautiful dedicated hair washing station, and it isn't one of those typical hair washing basins that gives you a neck ache! This is a big upgrade from your typical hair wash. There are plenty of hair cutting stations, and they were all extremely clean. They also do facial waxing here, and the wax room was incredible. Very spacious and the table actually looked comfortable! That's a change of pace... I'll definitely be coming back for a wax. Let's get to the point now... I received "the boss" manicure, and they really outdid themselves with this one. It started with a sugar scrub followed by a lotion massage before we even got to the nails. I thought that this was great! I don't think I really realized how worn out my arms and hands were until then, but it helped me so much. The essences in each of these steps helped relieve that tension and stress, which added quite a bit to the experience. The cucumber lotion was so soothing. The manicure itself was so well done. I got a bright red color, and I loved it. I am someone who works with my hands a ton - lots of painting - and it took 5 days to chip. I have never had a manicure last this long! Overall, I absolutely recommend this place. The owner, Theresa, goes out of her way to make you comfortable, and the ambiance is as good as it gets.
