From the moment we walked in the door I could tell this wasn't going to be a good experience. My wife and I walked in and the place was empty minus one artist, who gave us a slightly annoyed look when we came in. We probably interrupted her game of Words with Friends, or Candy Crush or something. From the back of the shop she asked what we wanted. My wife said she has an old tattoo that she wanted touched up and was looking for suggestions to make it look better. At first the woman didn't even come up to the counter to look at it, she just said ok, but stayed in the back of the shop. So my wife reiterated that she was wondering what could be done to make it look better and stand out more. Finally the woman came up to the counter...peered at it for literally two seconds and then took a few steps back and said, yea...we can do something. My wife asked what she could do...would she use the same color or what she would do to revive it. She also asked how much would it cost. The woman never said anything about the tattoo and what could be done. She said it would be about a hundred bucks and would take less than an hour. I think it was at that point my wife realized this wasn't going anywhere and said she would think it over. On our way out the woman said that we would have to put a deposit down to reserve the time for it to be done. Are you kidding me? Why would we give you business when you literally wouldn't give us the time of day. You gave no suggestions as to what could be done or what any other options would be. Whether its a $100 tattoo or a $1000+ tattoo you should always treat a paying customer with respect. In addition when someone comes in looking for recommendations, you as the professional, should give just that...a professional opinion. I don't think I will recommend anyone to Evermore Tattoo. read more
