Kris made sure I was stunning for my day by offering extra trial sessions to get my makeup perfect. She also purchased makeup for me to match my unique olive toned complexion. She is skilled in contouring and highlighting. She knew exactly how to make my eyes pop and look "doe" like with eye shadow, shimmer, liner, and perfectly placed lashes. She was also very easy to work with and really made me feel like my opinions mattered. I looked classy and romantic. I received non-stop compliments on my makeup. Everyone said I looked beautiful, not overdone, and glowing! She traveled to me prepared and on task. She also did my three bridesmaids makeup flawlessly. We were all stunning! My makeup stayed on all day and night. I still looked great 8hrs later with light touch up of powder on my nose and forehead. I definitely plan on going to her again for my special events. She is also very fair priced and generous.

I did not really think my hair cut was very well, nor did I like the color that was put on my hair. It was very brassy and in my opinion, not what I expected. I did not have her do my hair again. She would not accept a check and I was informed that I needed to pay in cash. I did not and never will use her services again.

I found a Groupon deal for a micro-needling session with Natalia and remembered having a good…read moreexperience with her when I got laser hair removal on my mustache last year. The machine was of great quality because I didn't need to go back. As someone on the autism spectrum, people have tried to take advantage of me. Four months ago I paid double of what Natalia charges, and the aesthetician tech missed several spots on my face and said "it will come out in the wash". No longer believing in "you get what you pay for" I decided to give Groupon a try, which generally is a bad idea for micro-needling, but I got lucky with Natalia. She was extremely thorough, sanitary, non-biased, kind, and professional. She took so much time on me and put a lot of effort into my face. Note that with Groupon, she made 1/3 of what I was charged elsewhere, yet treated me better and did a better job. I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to share my great experience, and leave an honest review. You are in great hands. The appointment was canceled by the provider; the gratuity was refunded, but the service fee was retained despite the service not being completed. Given the high costs associated with wedding services, I recommend reviewing the contract carefully, reading reviews (both positive and negative), and clarifying how cancellations and refunds are handled in situations where the service is canceled by the business so expectations are clear and stress can be avoided on important occasions.

I hired Kelli for my July 2022 wedding. Ultimately, I found her to be incredibly rigid, hard to…read morework with and unreasonable. I think she probably sees herself as a stealthy business woman, making sure to look out for her own best interests (which would be something I can appreciate). However, her inability to compromise or even communicate clearly when a resolution is needed are not the qualities of a good small business owner. What's really frustrating though, is that after all her shortcomings on the business side of things, she absolutely does not make up for it in the realm of talent. When I initially experienced how cold Kelli can be in her emails, I thought "well, if she communicates this poorly but still has good reviews, she must be REALLY good at what she does." No. I will leave it at that--the answer is no. I thought about writing out all the details of my experience with Kelli, but then this review would be way too long. I will just say that by the end of my interactions with her I had given up. Every email she sent left me feeling more upset than the last, and I didn't want that kind of energy leading up to my wedding. Rather than seeking a fair resolution or any of my money back I chose to just pay her the remaining balance owed, take the services she was willing to give me, and then never talk to her again. To you, Kelli: I get that you deal with a lot of weddings and contracts all the time. But for me, this was my wedding. It was a very special day for me. And I wanted to be able to talk to you, as a real person and as the artist that you claim to be. Instead, I got a cold robot who quoted the contract at me every time I tried to have an open conversation about what I needed. It made me feel like we were at odds instead of being on the same team. There is a difference between being direct and being abrasive. You can be direct and still be friendly. In the end, when I told you I was upset and why, the attempt you made at having a warm, positive tone came across as insincere and condescending. Also, the fact that you didn't even check your own contract before mis-quoting it at me repeatedly added a whole new layer of confusion to our already frustrating communications. UPDATE: A day or two after I posted this review Kelli emailed me reminding me of a clause in my contract regarding reviews and asking me to take this review down. (Everything else that was said in her long email just solidly reinforced my previous experience of her.) I was aware of the clause and am not in breach of it, so will not be removing my review. It makes you wonder though, if there have been other poor reviews that went unposted due to that clause.
