I did not even got to the scheduled appointment, after so many nagging confirmations, they cancelled my appointment. Here's m story: I gave them a call on a Tuesday, and luckily got scheduled for Thursday. Tuesday, on the phone, they are eager to get your Credit Card number (all information) and store it on file just because "it is our policy" On Wednesday, I get like 2 SMS confirmation messages, one phone call reminder as well to tell me about my appointment. Then another email confirmation. To which I confirmed all. Then end of day Wednesday they call me to cancel my appointment. After annoying me with dozens of notifications and confirmations, they cancel less than 12 hours before the appointment. Trying to give them a call, and I ask one question, then the receptionist tells me abruptly: "Just hold on" and puts me on hold just like that, without any reason or some courtesy. I had to hang up. Emailing them as per their website as well, they don't answer. So convenient. I moved on, I don't want to deal with this clinic. They gave me the impression that they are too pushy and mainly care for themselves than the clients. Please delete my credit card from your system alongside my profile. read more

I am writing to share my negative experience with Dr. Shalindir Sodhi. I came in originally with questions around menstrual health, and some of the issues I've been facing. After a round of questions asking about life style, Mr Sodhi recommended that he conduct an examination on a medical exam table. He pulled down my pants much lower than I was comfortable with, with out even asking first or telling me first, and started immediately pressing extremely deeply in my lower pelvic region to "examine my uterus". At that moment, I had entrusted that he knew what he was doing, and let him continue pushing hard for several minutes. He concluded that he could tell based on his "exam" that my uterus' energy was negative/bad (words along those lines). Following that, he also lifted my shirt to feel my upper chest area, and pulled my shirt up much higher than I was comfortable with as well with out first telling me or asking. He then offers to crack my neck (like a chiropractor would), in which I let him because I had trusted him. Looking back, I don't believe it was safe to let anyone who is not at least a certified chiropractor to practice this. He cracked my neck on both sides deeply. He also recommended some foods that I should stop eating to see if it would help my issue, including broccoli, which I thought was strange. Upon further research at home, it turns out studies have shown broccoli to actually be an especially beneficial food for my specific issues. At the end, he writes a prescription to sell me their company's custom supplements. I ended up purchasing them ($100+), but returned them the next day because I found online the same specific herbs/supplements at a much lower cost. It was off-putting to see how high of a cost difference it was, and I also personally did not feel comfortable taking their supplements (no idea who or where these pills are sourced and produced) Lastly, after my painful "uterus exam", my lower pelvic region was sore and in pain for almost 2 weeks after my visit. I do not believe that he has the expertise to conduct such "exams", as he is not a certified gynecologists'. I feel compelled to share my experience so everyone is aware, because I do not believe that the way Mr Sodhi handled my exam was professional or legitimately beneficial for my health/wellbeing. read more

Very Considerate, skilled and expert physician with attention to detail, and a very knowledgeable professional with holistic approach to medicine. He listens and goes in depth to understand and evaluate the medical concern of his patients and provides a naturalistic lifestyle approach to treatment. Cancellation policy I called for new patient appointment and found that their cancellation policy is 48 hours if we miss 260$ we need to pay . Wow this is the first time I am seeing so much cancellation charges . I am wondering how people are going to this practise with that policy . I am not sure can doctor give guarantee that they can be on that appointment if not pay the same amount to us ? Anyway I can't afford that much money if last mins issues happen without our control . Don't see Dr Sodhi especially if you are a woman! I'm sharing my negative experience to prevent ladies from being molested by him. I came in to see Dr Sodhi. The goal of my visit was to request an annual blood test which he ordered but also performed an unsolicited pelvic exam on me. He asked me to sit on the clinical bed and said he'd check my ovaries. He lowered my trousers more than I was comfortable with without even asking, he didn't ask me if I'd prefer to have someone else in the room, and pushed very hard onto my uterus and ovaries. He then asked if he can perform an intravaginal exam. At this point I was feeling extremely uncomfortable and said NO. I was also a bit shocked as he is not a gynecologist and my visit's goal was a blood test. I left feeling very bad. My lower abdomen hurt for several days. I'll never go back. read more

My husband has been going to this office for a year now and they have almost completely alleviated all of his anxiety and other issues. I was convinced that I needed to switch to their office after seeing his results. Today was my first appointment and I was very pleased. They are very Ayurvedic in their approach, while still aware of the very American culture we live in. Anju was personable, knowledgable, and down-to-earth. I'd recommend the bulk rate if you are a cash patient. I paid $1000 for 4 or 5 appointments (including the wellness) plus the basic blood panel, which saved me $400. It sounds like a lot, but after seeing all kinds of doctors throughout my life, I know that in the long-run, it's cheap! I have been going to Dr. Sodhi Since June of 2016. I had multiple things happening, I was tired, in pain, anxious, not digesting food, depressed, having ridiculous issues with my menstrual cycle, stressed. Blood work showing "normal" by western stand point. Yellowish skin, dark circles, hair falling out, in ability to lose weight and would gain weight insanely fast, I wasn't sleeping well... and lets not even talk about inflammation! Oye! Blood work after I met with Dr. Sodhi, revealed deficiencies that perhaps were affecting the situation, so we started treatment. I started the careful treatment aligning for my constitution, food specifics and herbs. I was extremely disciplined in my approach. A plethora of herbs (both Ayurvedic and other herbs), multiple times per day. Complete changed everything over a period of time. You have to mind your diet, at first I was not a happy camper, things felt worse sometimes, but I communicated it, and continued on. I did EVERYTHING possible to fall in line with the treatments... and it was tough... I wasn't a saint in the effort, and when I wasn't I hurt or experienced the inflammation again. It took time to heal from that mess. The body doesn't just do things magically over night, it takes time for the gentle healing to work, but things were working. It took a year for me to get almost 100% better. We have a few things left but I can tell you there is a SIGNIFICANT improvement, and was even able to go through Panchakarma which really expedited the last bit of healing. Dr. V. Sodhi and the panchakarma team are fantastic! I went in with a lot of fatigue and allergies. Allergies were cured overnight with some medicine. This is after mainstream and naturopaths could offer me nothing effective and the last resort was allergy shots. Literally, I took the medicine and have not had allergies since! Dr. Sodhi went further though and wanted me to do panchakarama to deal with the fatigue. 10 weeks later I have sustainably high energy. The program requires a lot of lifestyle change, so be ready for that and ask for help from the team. They are very knowledgeable and supportive. I was wondering if the basti/colonic would be awful, but I would say I got at least half of the overall benefit from that alone. Highly recommended. read more

I came to this clinic with severe gastritis hoping for a treatment according to Ayurveda which are - diet specific to my constitution and current imbalance, and Ayurvedic herbal formulations. Prior to coming to this clinic I even called and asked about that and was told that that was what they specialized in. I saw Dr. Virender Sodhi. It was a pleasant interaction. Everybody was kind. Dr. Sodhi was also very kind and supportive. He identified my constitution and an imbalance and I was given a booklet with foods that I could eat and yoga exercises. I was surprised to see the foods that I was allowed to eat and even clarified if that was ok. So I trusted him and went home. Added allowed foods to my diet and got really sick, couldn't digest any. When I told that to Dr. Sodhi he told me "Looks like your system is really aggravated." I thought I made it very clear at our first appointment. Unfortunately I didn't receive the treatment I was looking for. It was more of a naturopathic treatment rather than an Ayurvedic one. I got prescribed modern holistic supplements (curcumin, probiotic, protein powder) sort of one-fit-all pills, not individualized herbal formulations. One of the supplements I was given (protein powder) made me so terribly sick immediately after I took it and I took only 1/4th dose of what was prescribed! I have never been in so much pain! It was just terrible! When I told Dr. Sodhi that the powder caused my stomach a lot of pain he said again "Looks like your system is really aggravated" which I indicated to him numerous times before. He also told me that it was healing crisis which I was really surprised to hear. Healing crisis doesn't happen immediately after taking a supplement. I spent $70 on a box of protein powder and asked them if they would take it back because it made me sick, they said they didn't take supplements back, which to me is not they way patients should be treated.... I saw him 3 or four times, spent over $1,000 on visits and supplements and eventually walked away feeling worse than when I came in. That was not the Ayurveda I learned about from Dr. Vasant Lad's and Dr. Robert Svoboda books. This is an additional info I came upon just couple of days ago. When I was at this clinic they suggested I did a food sensitivity test that cost me $360 dollars. The drew blood on site and results came later. The test was done through Meridian Valley LAB - E95 Common Food Panel. It showed that I was sensitive to some foods that I was eating at the time and some other strange things. Two days ago 9/8/17 I was doing research on allergy testing and came across Food Sensitivity Test Kit that is sold on Amazon for $239 which is exact same thing that I was charged $360 for. As I continued my research I found out that not only this test is unreliable, it is just plain false! It is an IgG antibodies test, which does not measure your allergic response. This test only measures your exposure to a given food. Interestingly enough taking out the foods this test showed I'm allergic to did absolutely nothing for me. read more

I saw Dr. Shailinder Sodhi last year for some women's health related issues. He was very thorough in his evaluation and gave a clear diagnosis. He is a very pleasant, confident doctor.
