Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I would not trust this agency to walk my cat, much less handle my insurance. I wish I could share more details publicly, but because this matter is currently being disputed and reviewed, I am going to limit this review to my own experience and matters that can be documented. I filed a complaint with State Farm corporate regarding the handling of our insurance and my concerns about this agency. The State Farm corporate complaint number is 1915530. In my opinion, the response I received did not adequately address the issues and questions I raised. I have also contacted the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner and asked that the matter be reviewed independently. I am not going to use this review to decide who is legally right or wrong. That is for the appropriate parties and regulatory authorities to determine after reviewing the documentation. What I can say is that, based upon my personal experience, I was extremely dissatisfied with the way my concerns were handled and with the level of communication and respect I received as a customer. If I were choosing an insurance agency today, I would shop elsewhere for an agency that I felt would communicate clearly, answer my questions, and treat me with respect when a problem arose. We have continued to be impressed with the quality of the companies they represent and their own prompt attention to any questions or concerns. Our current agent is Kim Waller. Every year at renewal time Kim has done a careful review of our policies to figure out which company can offer us the best coverage and service at the best price. "Careful Review" does not mean a few minutes in front of a computer screen. This year Kim spent hours and hours on the process. In a number of phone calls she explained the pros and cons of switching from our current insurer to another company. We ended up saving $1000 by making the change.
