I was sent on the "mission" to Florida Coast Equipment to buy all the filters and fluids. I was helped by Natalie Proveaux and Russ Przywara. As an Engineer myself, I was thoroughly impressed with Natalie's working knowledge of the Kubota specs and I left with valve measurements and timing data that we needed. Russ set up our new account and gathered all the parts. I found their parts to be reasonable and teammates Natalie and Russ to be AWESOME. Even though Florida Coast Equipment is about 50 miles from where we live, the next time we need parts, we'll be visiting Russ and Natalie!

I live 3 hours away and purchased an experience for my family to enjoy while in the area overnight. The night before, they informed me by email that they would be canceling "due to weather". After multiple attempts to call them to discuss, I had to go back-and-forth with a very rude woman via email. I explained that because we had come from out of town we were willing to come "rain or shine", noting that their website states they operate "rain or shine". She cited lightning as the reason they would be closing, which would be completely understandable if it weren't the freaking night before and you don't know that there will be lightning at that time. Due to their complete lack of consideration, I attempted to dispute their charge with my credit card company and the "farm" refuted it, stating I had purchased a nonrefundable ticket. Obviously that is a fact, but THEY canceled the event (based on the reviews, I should have paid attention to prior to purchasing, this is a common tactic of theirs ) with no reasonable alternative. $200 down the drain, but I will not be quiet about it.

Now let's talk about the fresh, brand new grass laid down for plenty of $. BROWN. They are still cleaning up, still on property (blowing their dirt everywhere), they laid down BROWN grass. I explained several times to the agent on the phone that I do not need any service in my back yard, which I intend to have artificial turf installed. I was told that service would begin once they had my payment information so I was a bit shocked that someone showed up before I officially made any payment online. The day of my first treatment, my wife said someone rang the doorbell and then made their way to my back yard. I have a gate which was closed so there was no need for anyone to go back there. My wife knew someone from the lawn company was going to be at our home to treat the lawn but only in the front of the house. When she confronted the technician on why he was in our back yard, he told her that he was 'supposed to treat the entire property'. FALSE!!! I never authorized that. I immediately called the company while driving home and told them to just cancel everything. They lost me with being dishonest and I wouldn't doubt that they've done it before. Whenever a company is hired to do work, following the customer's instruction should always be paramount. When they don't, I see it as a huge red flag because it tells me there's a good chance they will do it again later with bigger situations.
