The Goddard School of Apex

The Goddard School of Apex

Goodard School at Apex caused a huge stress in our lives. One day, child protection service officer…read morecalled me that there is a complaint against me. As you can imagine, this was quite unsettling. I went through the interview patiently. I was told that the complaint was done by the Goddard School. The complaint was that I take walks with my younger child, without taking my elder child with me, and this was suspicious. I had been doing this for more than a year. So what had happened? What had happened a few days before that was that I had a disagreement with the director. The CPS officer, after satisfying herself by asking me all kind of questions, told me that they have received complaints like this in the past. Based on their feedbacks, they have realized that Goddard is very nice to the parents at the time of enrollment. A year or two after that, on any disagreement, they use one parent against the other. Or if they don't like something about you, they complain to the social service, on some pretext. By this time , the parents cannnot make the children go through a disruptive change, by changing the school. The school is obviously expert in human behavior, and has calculated this in its "art" of keeping the parents in check. The parents then start "working with" the school. She finally told me that the CPS service check is routine, and she will get back. The service was called off in about a month and a half. It was not actually called off. Only when I checked back with them, I received a mail stating "no services required". Needless to say, that month and a half, I was fighting with my own worst fears. I just prayed this to go away. I do not wish that this school happens to you.

That curriculum is amazing." My son loves his teachers and was so happy to see them again after vacation. He often says "I will tell my teachers about this." He is eager to please them. The Quality: the teachers know what they are doing. The kids jump around in the morning and sit quietly during lunch. It doesn't feel chaotic but under control, safe and calm. There are free and paid specials - free music and gym are free. There are also paid dance classes (Little People's Creative Workshop) and Soccer (Soccer shots). My son loves all of these and it's certainly convenient for us. My son has started really looking at books on his own, recognizing letters, writing letters etc. We are very happy with his progress and his teachers. They have a big screen in his class which they use for yoga, music, lessons etc. Value: It's not cheap, for sure. But many people don't know that religious-sponsored schools do not have to adhere to safety/quality standards which is one of the reasons why they are cheaper. My son is safe, happy and healthy in school. They provide meals but you can opt out if you'd like. They provide generally healthy options for kids and my son likes to eat there. It's a great school.

They no longer offer part time care unfortunately but if you're looking for a full time place this…read moreis a good fit. We were lucky enough to get part time care before they switched. We had to pull our kid out unfortunately, but for personal reasons nothing to do with the daycare. We're very sad because we loved Ms Felicia in the infant room. There's an app to communicate with the teachers and to watch the video feed if you want to which came in handy when I wanted to see when I could get him if he was sleeping or not. I'm sad that when we are able to go back to daycare we won't be able to do it since they won't accept part time kids anymore. I can't vouch for the other rooms just the infant room but honestly the whole staff is really nice and welcoming.
