In November of 2018 I took my truck to Colorworks in Huntsville for some minor surface rust…read morerepairs. Rob, the owner, was very helpful and suggested that he add some plastic fender flairs and a 10" high stripe of a contrasting dark grey with chip guard along the bottom. I was very happy with the results! The following March the rubber gaskets for the fender flairs had come off. I took it back to show them and they booked me in for May. I took it back to Colorworks in May and they reinstalled the gaskets at no charge. By September the gaskets had come loose again and I took it back to Colorworks. Rob told me that it's was no problem as they had a new supplier and that he would be happy to fix them at no charge. While I was there Rob noticed a couple of spots where the rust had reappeared and he said that shouldn't have happened in that short a period of time and booked me in for October 30th to have everything fixed at no charge. I was so impressed!! When I arrived I was informed that Rob had retired. The new owner(?), Dave, informed me that regardless of what Rob had arranged they were not prepared to do anything without a charge. He ended up offering me a discounted rate of $1200 to touch up the rust spots and said that they couldn't do anything about the flair gaskets unless I was prepared to pay for a new set of flairs SO DISSAPOINTING!!!

They didn't charge us much for the new tires and came back to us before we expected the job to be done, telling us that the wheels were already in the trunk of our SUV. Once they didn't even charge us on replacing a valve stem on a UTV tire (but that was after we had already had some work done with them so don't go asking for free work...). The staff there were helpful and jovial (rascally actually), a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rocky Island said get the car there and they would wait around. We rolled in right at 5, when they should have all been going home, they pounced on the car like an F1 team. They were excellent on price, super nice, and really helped us out of a bind, as I was on a space saver tire that would not have got us home and we would have had to find accommodation until the next day. Despite living in Toronto, next time I need tires I am driving back up to Bracebridge to this place.
