Architecturally, this place is so beautiful, and also such a great set up for an event location. The bar area is naturally separate from the rest of the restaurant, so a cocktail hour is easily contained within the bar and cocktail area. When it was time to open up the assigned seating, which fanned out from a fun dance floor and DJ area in the middle of the room, we found our seats easily and could see the head table and all the action on the dance floor. Offering a panoramic view of the Myriad Gardens and the city beyond, you get both the view of the park and all it's natural beauty, plus a view of the Colcord, the Devon tower and the rest of the city beyond. I can't think of any other place in the city where you can find such a perfect mix of natural and manmade beauty nearly everywhere you like. If you're a little bit country and she's a little bit rock and roll, this is the wedding and reception venue of your dreams. Add to that features like a great set up for guest drop off and valet parking, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better location for private events in OKC.

The dining experience, however delicious, was not worth $300, especially to not have individualized meals or service. The tables were not comfortable to hang out at after dinner. I would not recommend the event to anyone at that price. To better reflect the experience, I would put the price at $75 and no more than $100 apiece. $125 would have been slightly more reasonable had it been open bar, but as stated, it was not.

This is a follow up on my last review. Like I stated before, we had been in consistent contact…read moresince February, and I did respond to the email that was sent regarding my balance asking for an additional day to submit final payment. I also understand and fully take responsibility for missing the final payment deadline. My concern is with the communication that followed. After ONE phone call attempt and that email exchange, no additional effort was made to reach me before my event date. Given that we had been in regular contact throughout the planning process, I find it hard to understand why no further follow-up was made during the work week leading up to the event. One additional call or email could have completely changed the outcome. I would never intentionally walk away from a $250 deposit after spending two months planning an event. My purpose in sharing this is simply for awareness, while policies are policies, communication and customer care also matter.
