I didn't mind it but my partner used his hoodie to try and block it out. Car park tickets can be validated near the coffee machine at the service desk which is great if you want to catch dinner and a movie like we did. Floors needed to be attended to as there was rubbish and popcorn EVERYWHERE! Did not look good for such a relatively new cinema.
Premium Dine-in class theatre seat. Comfy!

All is asking a lot but if it's obvious to us it should be obvious to staff, especially on seats. - replace ripped seats and remove stains. Looks like some 'other' kind of movie has been shown. Ticket and candy bar menu are still reasonably priced but not cheap enough for a 'you get what you pay for' mentality. A little TLC would go a long way. With newer cinemas at Charlestown and Kotara they are at high risk of losing customers if not already. I'm not in a hurry to come back.

Going to Hoyts was a struggle after having such an excellent experience with Reading Cinemas…read morealthough free tickets aren't something to avoid. :) The main entrance is excellent, the Customer Service from staff are outstanding and the design of the interior is very modern using a lot of screens. Exactly what I'd expect from a Cinema. Although the actual movie experience was disappointing. I found the prices of the combo's aren't even listed above the candy bar requiring you to ask what prices are and the seats aren't the most comfortable. We found the actual movie screens to be significantly small considering how many seats were in a cinema. Granted some aspects of my experience were admirable but the majority was disappointing.
