Can we talk about how wonderful Aaron and Meg are? We used Evantide for our engagement photos up in the Mt. Baker area and the photos were GORGEOUS (if I do say so myself). Our friends and family continue to comment on our pictures and how amazing our photographers must have been). With that we decided to use Evantide Photography for our wedding photos. Once again - GORGEOUS! Our wedding was in the Lake Tahoe area and Aaron and Meg spent a few days prior to the wedding scoping out the location, mountain lighting, and finding the perfect photo locations. I was incredibly hesitant to go with an out-of-town photographer, but with the pictures and locations you'd never guess they weren't native to the Tahoe region. In addition to the gorgeous photos, Aaron and Meg are simply wonderful to work with. When we first met them for our engagement photos we were laughing almost the entire time. What I really liked was that they told us what looked good and what .... could look better (as far as poses go). I'm really no model so I really appreciated having someone tell me where and how I should stand for the most-flattering photo. As far as the wedding goes, Meg was incredibly organized with timelines and the important-players. I had a wedding planner that I anticipated would help with that type of stuff - but instead Meg came through and picked up the slack so that I wouldn't have to. No words to describe how amazing it was working with Aaron! He had great ideas of places to shoot, fantastic interaction with my toddler, guidance in posing but nothing felt forced and the results were breathtaking. Aaron and Meg are INCREDIBLE. They were the most gracious and fun photographers you can ask for. We had engagement pics and wedding done by them. The groom's mother is from the east coast and still talks about how amazing they were and compares every other event photographer to them. Evantide sets the standard. They were like great friends who happened to have cameras even encouraging family member's iphone pics! You don't often see that. They were flexible and just across the board wonderful! We recently got family and business photos taken by Meg and Aaron with Evantide Photography!! It was such an fun experience. They are very knowledgeable about their passion, photography, and very personable! The two of them work great as a team kept us entertained the whole time (2+ hrs).
