DOV: Tues., Mar. 27@ 12:10pm…read more This is the new John Deere dealership in town (opened Jan 2017) so they are still bright and shiny. I bought my mower from them last spring soon after they opened their doors and have been pleased with it so far. I was replacing an old John Deere that I had used for 20 years so I am a fan. I have found the salespeople to be very knowledgeable and helpful without the unwelcome element of pressure to buy or make a decision - a refreshing change from so many other sales experiences. The purpose of my visit today was to get a new air filter for my mower. The guy at the parts desk had a hard time locating it but he was persistent and finally found it. He was courteous and apologetic for taking so long but it was really no big deal at all. I appreciated his perseverance. Everything about this place is clean, bright, and John Deere green. Everyone is eager to help you and they seem genuinely interested in you having a positive experience at their store. I would have given this JD 5-stars but for one thing...they are really pricey with their parts and accessories. The air filter was fairly reasonable at around $12, but things like oil or belts are priced as if they were endangered or something. You definitely pay for the John Deere name. I recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a John Deere mower (any size/shape), a Honda push mower, a pull-behind trailer, or Stihl power equipment. Great brands and great people to learn from.

After a nightmare scenario with another AG pro on some warranty work, I decided to explore my…read moreoptions for getting another tractor. My experience with this Ag pro who recently moved to a new location was nothing short of great. "Wes" John Schwiers was the salesman who assisted me throughout the process. While he has only been working there for 2 months and didn't have the answers to all my questions, he promptly tracked down those answers and provided the kind of customer service one would expect from the company, which helped build this country. This was not exactly your typical salesman experience where they shove their "best" deal in your face. We worked through what my "need" was, and I was provided options to make the best decision for myself and our farm. This is the kind of service I expect from a company like Ag Pro/ John Deere. Highly recommend this Ag Pro in Anderson, SC, noting that not all Ag Pros provide this level of customer service.

I'm not sure how this business is regarding purchasing new and/or repairing equipment purchased…read morefrom them. This review is based on several estimates on equipment that was not purchased from them. The general attitude concerning repair of equipment that was not purchased from them is "...your probably looking at needing to purchase a new (fill in the blank) but we won't know until we get it in the back and you pay us our $50 diagnostic fee". Maybe...If I do need new, it won't be from you!

Same experience as Keith, a few years ago. Bought a brand new Husky 562XP from Anerson Outdoor…read moreProducts (AOP). Less than a year later and probably 10 hours on it would not start hot. Had to cool for at least an hour. Did the basic air filter, spark plug, etc. to no avail. Brought it to AOP. As I entered, carrying the saw, they advised me of a sale on Husvarna. Told them I just needed a simple look over. Remember less than 10 hours. I paid the $60+ diagnostic fee upfront. A week later I get the "low compression needs an entire upper cylinder replacement" call for about the cost of the new saw. I arranged a pickup. This saw had such compression it would pull your hand off if you were not ready. Took the saw to Landscaper Supply in Piedmont, a more distant servicing dealer. Called me days later advising saw just needed an autotune adjustment for $60. Has ran like an animal since then, logging probably 30 hours after Helene without a hiccup. Great saw! Not so great or honest or capable dealer. Shame on you Anderson Power Equipment!
