As a visitor, here is what I can tell you: The parking lot can get a little tight in the middle of league night when it is the busiest. The facility is big and bright and clean. The restrooms (women's at least) have never been wanting for soap or toilet paper or anything and honestly were cleaner than I expected them to be when I used them the first time. The concessions are more than fairly priced, in comparison to other league play spots I have been. They have an impressive selection of adult beverages. TVs and available streaming and channels for watching televised games after the league. Friendly staff. And they are quick with what is needed or asked for when there is an injury. Pretty alright all around.

We're proud of them and we're glad that they are thinking about MLS. We're hoping that the Louisville soccer team makes it into MLS at some point, they're a dark horse behind the likes of Phoenix, Sacramento and Indianapolis, but I think it'd be great because there is a massive fanbase here in this town, which doesn't have any major sports, and it would be a wise idea to give them the fifth major sport, which might some may end up becoming one of the top three in the country and passing hockey and baseball if it hasn't already started doing that. Great team indeed.

That fan section though…read more It is a great time to go see Louisville City play football (no, American hand-ball isn't football, shut up Brad). The play was great, the fans were great, the fan section making all the noise and smoke? Marvelous! Sure, nothing will ever beat British rowdies or German fans but they outdo themselves. I'm not usually a fan of public money going toward private endeavors - like stadiums for sports that have never shown to return on investment but by golly since I am going to use it is let's go ahead and dig deep folks, let's have a proper stadium. Slugger Field is ugh and in a crappy place with worse parking. The Yum Center has shown that when you throw good money after bad, we show up. Let's do this properly!

I then got a call from Coach Seewer who has been so welcoming as well as the owner of Javanon Club. We have been welcomed and both my girls have been enjoying the sessions for both the teams they have trained with. We are super happy about having found Javanon.

There are also tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball, and other sports fields. Bravo to all those that contributed in the vision and buildout for this place as it was long overdue for the community but such a great use of tax revenues.

The facility has several soccer fields, baseball fields, a nice upgrades playground and even and outdoor fitness center for the community. I've taken the kids here a few times to play on the playground and recently went here to watch my daughters friend soccer game. Really nice facility to host sporting events with ample enough parking and wide open spaces. Overall a very nice addition to the mount Washington community and a very fine place to either play and relax or take in or participate in a sporting event.

Volleyball court review only - relatively new place, some minor hiccups…read more Pros - Good referees, right amount of sand, high quality equipment (nets, balls, lighting). Blind Squirrel restaurant/bar is adjacent if you want to watch TV, eat before or after (separate review for the Squirrel - its a little pricey but not for the area -Middletown). Cons- Parking! (esp if there is a band at Blind squirrel). Wind can be a problem as no real "wind breaker" to the west of the courts. Quality of teams you play can vary widely (this is expected as new league). Winter tent issue should be corrected by next season (proper tent did not arrive in time so a smaller substitute one was installed). Overall a good place to play, leagues are well run. If you live in the Middletown area these are the best sand leagues you will find.

The ref-ing was also different to me than at the other two locations that I play at, but that was a quick adjustment. If you live out this way, this is a great option for sports leagues. And the associated restaurant is convenient for fueling/recovery. Decent food options are the only things missing from my other volleyball spots. I bet this spot is hopping come the warmer months when the outdoor courts double the games able to be played. It is an option. Not my preferred one, but a good one.

Wonderful location in elizabethtown, however parking in the front parking lot is a nightmare and is…read moresmall. Almost everyone parks in the grass, the soccer leagues are popular here. Small restrooms but decently clean, small eating and concession area. I gets hot and there is no shade so bring an umbrella chair or something for shade. There is a small playground in the front parking lot, but that is it. Never had an issues with car break ins or stealing, so safe and clean.
