Definitely an eclectic mix of wares are available in this well sized and positioned market in the pretty historical township of Evandale. Set in a permanent location on the far edge of town, with ample parking for only $1.50, you'll find plenty of goods to occupy your attention, particularly if you are at all sentimental. There is an heavy emphasis on antiques and second-hand goods, with some bargains to be had.
Take a trip down memory lane, particularly in the hall, where a permanent collection of stalls selling 2nd hand goods in well preserved conditions awaits you. There are also a fair few stall holders selling goods from third world countries to raise funds for various charities. If you like your Country Women's Association style cake stalls and hand-knitted goods, you'll *love* it here. I got an hand-made beanie, that matches my winter coat perfectly, for $10. I love a chat and all the stall holders are happy to engage in conversation. They're not merely greedy for your money.
Just a note: there's only one coffee vendor and she's situated just inside the doorway of the hall. So make a beeline for there, get your coffee and then enjoy your browse and stroll.
Recommended highlights: Manu bakery, Turkish Gozleme and anything home made or home grown.
