Evan did an AMAZING job photographing our son's Bar Mitzvah. From our initial Zoom consultation to quickly delivering a gallery of the most beautiful photos, he was such a pleasure to work with. He is professional, personable, extremely reliable and quickly responds to any questions. You can tell he really loves what he does by the passion he puts into his work. I was absolutely blown away at how beautiful the photos turned out. The coloring, clarity, and combination of naturally posed and candid shots really reveals Evan's talent and artistic eye. I am so glad we chose him to capture such beautiful memories for us to treasure, and would HIGHLY recommend him for any of your photography needs. read more

Evan, the photographer who took, produced, and delivered this picture of my Mom just 2 years before she passed away is an amazing professional. The quality is incredible and is art in its truest form. I will forever be grateful to Evan and his talents for encapsulating the essence of my Mom and Step Dad on this photo shoot. My Mom, who was a little nervous, raved about the experience and how Evan was able to bring the best out of her and my Step Dad Jim. In a world where our cell phones carry some real ability to take pictures these photos and production blows away anything I have seen on my phone or computer. I am so happy to have these keepsakes and ultimately family heirlooms to enjoy for years to come. Please note he did this at their house! We have hired Evan again to shoot a big family party coming up at the end of the month. I can't wait to see the photo album he is creating for my wife and I. He is also making it so everyone will have a link to get pictures and prints that they wish to have, hang, or put in their digital safe. I can't recommend Evan enough, thank you Evan! read more

Evan Guston Photography - Thank you for our amazing wedding photos! - Photographers Near Me - Simi Valley, California

Evan has been photographing my family since i was a child. He photographed my Bat Mitzvah and most recently did my wedding! I cannot sing his praises enough. His versatility is astounding. My Bat Mitzvah photos were playful, bright, and young. My wedding photos were elegant, strong, and timeless. Evan mixes his own keen eye with the needs of his client. He is professional yet approachable. He understands the mood of the pictures and manages to get both staged and candid shots without ever being "in the way." He captured some powerful moments I didn't even know he was there for. He knows exactly what he is doing and his experience shows. After my wedding, my in-laws told me how impressed they were with the photographer, and all I could say was "That's just Evan!" He makes the smiles genuine. He knows how to stay on schedule without rushing. My only complaint is that he isn't in Denver to do my maternity shots! The quality of the photos are unbelievable. I am camera shy, but he made me look and feel like a model. He understands his clients and comes prepared. His years of experience is evident and he shows up ready to work! If you need a talented, experienced, professional photographer who also happens to be an amazing human being, look no further. Evan Guston is everything! His photo is my Yelp profile picture, I'm obsessed with it! read more

I would have to give Evan Guston 5 stars. He was genuine and a true artist. He cared about the quality of his work and wanted to make sure I was happy. I hired Evan to take pictures of my band. We dialogued about different ideas. We decided we wanted to scout some locations so we went together to pick the perfect Downtown Los Angeles location. I like that he was able to understand my vision and was able to turn it into a realistic masterpiece with his expertise. The photoshoot was fun, and controlled even though we were in the streets of downtown. I love that Evan was a true professional all the way, which can be hard to find sometimes with talented artists. He was on time and met every deadline. Once he showed me the photos, it needed very little edits, and it was sent to me in a very timely manner! I would not only recommend Evan but I'll also be booking another shoot with him soon. read more

Evan Guston is an artist! Not only is he magic with the camera, but he is hands down the nicest guy you'll ever meet or do business with. We asked Evan to capture the perfect shot for our family portrait. He recommended a secret place he knew of...wow, it was perfect! I have three young children who don't always follow instructions. Evan made it fun and easy! We had a place in mind to mount our family portrait, but didn't really know what size the portrait should be. Evan had us take a photo of the spot and he offered his recommendation based on the dimensions of the wall and balanced it with the size of the room. He even found the perfect frame. Now we have a family portrait that is the envy of our neighborhood. We've always enjoyed taking family photos ourselves, and we even have an expensive camera. All I can say is that if it really counts, let Evan show you what a seasoned professional can do. My family looks perfect in our new portrait. Thank you Evan, there is no-one better than you! read more
