Dr. Liu is one of the few acupuncturists in San Diego who know how to use head needles (头针) to stimulate brain functions. My father's droopy face was significantly improved after treatment and the swollenness of his joints due to lack of movement was reduced. Dr. Liu uses electric pulses to enhance needles (电针) for my mother's pain treatment. His 推拿 (tuina) combines chiropractic treatment in addition to therapeutic massage. My parents found his treatments to be helpful and Qi Rhythm always help us to make best accommodations so my parents can be treated at the same time to save me a trip. I saw Dr. Liu because of chronic neck pain and stiffness. I've had neck pain for since last November. It doesn't seem to improve despite multiple Physical Therapy sessions.
