This particular store was close to our hotel in Potsdamer Platz, and we were driven here by Therese H.'s desire to find a sundress to wear to a restaurant. I ended up with a new linen shirt. Although I don't come to Edeka often, (mainly because in my neighborhood doesn't really got one), It seem very well organized and clean here. It is surely a nice supermarket to shop with.

The staff was "in the process" of getting out of bed, unbelievably nasty, hostile and refused to answer questions asked in fluent yet accented German. The questions? Are you open? Can we come in? Are you open today? All met with a nasty scowl but no clear answer. Maybe they just hate foreigners. I hope this Review gets circulated & no one visits.

They have an excellent selection of 45s with pictures sleeves for those into that. Really fun to go though those, reminds me of my younger days browsing the singles section at Tower Records to see what was new. The only downside to this place is that albums not in the bins are not priced (ones on side or under the shelves) so you have to ask them to price it which leaves me in an awkward situation when i decide that it is priced too high. Also takes a long time. I would just suggest skipping those that are not priced.
